1. Introdución

This manual provides detailed instructions for the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of your Clarion DXZ 638 RMP car audio system. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the unit to ensure correct usage and to prevent damage.

3. Configuración e configuración inicial

3.1. Acendido inicial

After professional installation, turn on your vehicle's ignition. The unit should power on automatically or by pressing the POTENCIA botón.

3.2. Axustar o reloxo

1. Preme o MENÚ botón para acceder ao menú principal.
2. Navigate to "Time Settings" using the VOLUME/SELECT botón.
3. Press the knob to select. Adjust hours and minutes using the knob, then press again to confirm each setting.

4. Instrucións de funcionamento

4.1. Controis básicos

• Encendido/apagado: Preme o POTENCIA botón.
• Axuste de volume: Xire o VOLUME/SELECT botón.
• Selección da fonte: Preme o SRC (Source) button repeatedly to cycle through available sources (Tuner, CD, AUX).

4.2. Operación de radio

1. Select "Tuner" as the source using the SRC botón.
2. Selección de bandas: Preme o BANDA button to switch between FM1, FM2, FM3, and AM.
3. Sintonización manual: Preme o SINTONIZA up/down buttons (or rotate the VOLUME/SELECT knob in tuning mode) to change frequency step-by-step.
4. Buscar afinación: Manteña premido o SINTONIZA up/down buttons to automatically seek the next strong station.
5. Estacións predefinidas: To store a station, tune to the desired frequency, then press and hold one of the preset buttons (1-6) until you hear a beep. To recall, simply press the corresponding preset button.

4.3. Reprodución de CD/MP3

1. Cargando un CD: Insert a CD into the disc slot with the label side up. The unit will automatically pull in the disc and begin playback.
2. Ejecting a CD: Preme o EJECTAR botón.
3. Reproducir/Pausa: Preme o REPRODUCIR/PAUSA botón.
4. Saltar pista: Preme o SALTAR forward/backward buttons.
5. Folder Navigation (MP3/WMA): Usa o CARPETA up/down buttons to navigate between folders on an MP3/WMA disc.

4.4. Axustes de audio

Preme o AUDIO button to cycle through various audio settings such as Bass, Treble, Balance, and Fader. Use the VOLUME/SELECT knob to adjust the selected setting.

5. Mantemento

5.1. Limpeza da unidade

• Wipe the front panel with a soft, dry cloth.
• Non empregue produtos de limpeza abrasivos, ceras nin solventes.

5.2. CD Care

• Handle CDs by their edges to avoid fingerprints.
• Garda os CD nas súas fundas cando non os uses.
• Limpa os CD sucios cun pano suave e sen fiapos, pasando o limpo desde o centro cara a fóra.
• Do not use scratched, warped, or irregularly shaped discs.
