1. Introdución

Thank you for choosing the Eton Sound 100 AM/FM Radio. This manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your device. Please read these instructions carefully before use to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your radio.

The Eton Sound 100 is a tabletop AM/FM radio featuring a digital Phase-Locked-Loop (PLL) tuner, 10 station presets, an alarm with sleep timer, and a 3-inch full-range speaker. It includes an infrared remote control and a 3.5 mm auxiliary input for connecting external audio devices.

2. Configuración

2.1 Desembalaxe

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure you have the Eton Sound 100 radio, the AC power adapter, and the remote control.

  1. Locate the AC power adapter.
  2. Insert the adapter's barrel connector into the -12V AC 1A 10W input jack on the back of the radio.

3. Instrucións de funcionamento

3.1 Controis básicos

  • Botón POWER: Press to turn the radio on or off.

4.2 Battery Replacement (Backup)

If using AA batteries for backup, replace them annually or when the radio fails to retain time and preset settings after a power interruption. Ensure correct polarity when inserting new batteries.

  • Radio Does Not Turn On Automatically After Power Outage: If the radio loses power and then power is restored, you may need to press the POTENCIA button to turn the unit back on, even if backup batteries are installed.
  • Volume Control Irregularity: If the volume knob exhibits inconsistent response, try using the volume controls on the remote control.
  • No Sound from Auxiliary Input: Ensure the audio cable is fully inserted into both the radio's AUX IN jack and the external device. Verify the radio is in AUX mode and the external device's volume is turned up.
