Carefully remove the docking station from its packaging. Place the docking station on a stable, flat surface near your desired workspace.

3. Connecting Peripherals and External Displays

Connect your external devices to the appropriate ports on the docking station:

  • Dispositivos USB: Use the USB 3.0 ports (blue interior) for high-speed devices and USB 2.0 ports for standard peripherals.
  • External Monitors: Connect your monitors using DisplayPort, VGA, or DVI-D cables. The docking station supports multiple displays.

4. Docking Your Notebook

  1. Ensure your HP notebook is powered off or in sleep mode.
  2. Align your notebook with the docking connector on the docking station.
  3. Gently press the notebook down until it clicks securely into place. The docking station's power button should illuminate.

Operación

Encendido/apagado

Once docked, press the power button on the docking station to power on your notebook. To power off, use the standard shutdown procedure in your operating system. The notebook will charge while docked.

Undocking Your Notebook

To safely undock your notebook:

  1. Ensure all applications are closed and the notebook is in a safe state for removal (e.g., shut down or in sleep mode).
  2. Press the release button on the docking station. This button is typically located near the laptop bay.
  3. If the notebook does not release immediately, press the button again firmly. If one side releases before the other, gently reseat the notebook and try again.
  4. Lift the notebook from the docking station.

USB Devices Not Functioning
