Configuración

1. Instalación de baterías

  1. Open the battery compartment cover, typically located on the bottom of the camera.

Funcionamento da cámara

1. Acendido/apagado

Preme o ON/OFF button to power the camera on or off. The lens will extend upon power-on and retract upon power-off.

2. Fotografía básica (modo automático)

  1. Xire o dial de modo a AUTO or AUTO PICT.
  2. Frame your shot using the 3-inch tiltable LCD screen or the electronic viewbuscador (EVF).

3. Usando o zoom

The camera features a 26x optical zoom lens (22.3-580mm equivalent) and a 7.2x digital zoom.

  • To zoom in (telephoto), push the zoom lever towards T.
  • To zoom out (wide-angle), push the zoom lever towards W.

Nota: Digital zoom extends beyond optical zoom but may result in reduced image quality.

4. Gravación de vídeos

The Pentax X-5 can record Full HD 1080p video at 30 frames per second with H.264 compression.

  1. Turn the mode dial to the movie camera icon.
  2. Press the dedicated movie recording button (usually marked with a red dot) to start and stop recording.

Nota: Maximum recording capacity is approximately 60 minutes, depending on memory card size and battery life.

Mantemento

1. Limpeza da cámara

  • Lente: Use a lens brush or a soft, clean microfiber cloth specifically designed for optical surfaces. Avoid touching the lens with fingers.

Resolución de problemas

  • Batteries are depleted. Replace with fresh batteries or fully charged rechargeable batteries.
  • Batteries are inserted incorrectly. Check polarity.
  • Battery compartment cover is not closed securely.

  • Exposure compensation may be set incorrectly. Adjust EV settings if necessary.
