Configuración

Your Power Fresh Steam Mop requires minimal assembly. Simply connect the handle to the main body until it clicks securely into place.

The water tank is located on the front of the unit. To fill:

  1. Remove the water tank from the unit by lifting it straight up.
  2. Unscrew the cap at the bottom of the water tank.
  3. Fill the tank with distilled or demineralized water. Do not use cleaning solutions or essential oils in the water tank.
  4. Replace the cap securely and place the water tank back into the unit, ensuring it clicks into place.

3. Attaching Mop Pads and Fragrance Discs

To attach a mop pad:

  1. Select either the soft pad or the scrubby pad based on your cleaning needs.
  2. Align the mop pad with the bottom of the mop head and press firmly to attach it using the hook and loop fasteners.
  3. (Optional) For a fresh scent, insert a Spring Breeze Fragrance Disc into the small pocket on the mop pad before attaching it.

1. Powering On and Steam Control

Once the water tank is filled and the mop pad is attached:

  1. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The SmartSet Digital Steam Control will illuminate.
  2. Wait approximately 30 seconds for the unit to heat up. The indicator light will stop blinking and become solid when ready.
  3. Press the "Steam Level" button to cycle through the three steam settings: Low, Medium, or High, depending on your cleaning task.

2. Cleaning Floors

The Bissell Power Fresh Steam Mop is safe to use on sealed hard surfaces including hardwood, ceramic, granite & marble, and linoleum.

The steam mop is suitable for various sealed hard floor types.

  1. Slowly move the steam mop back and forth over the floor surface. The steam will be released automatically.
  2. For sanitization, slowly pass the mop over an area using the highest steam setting for at least 15 seconds. This helps eliminate 99.9% of germs and bacteria.
  3. The swivel steering allows for easy maneuverability around furniture and obstacles.

3. Using the Flip-Down Easy Scrubber

For tough, dried-on messes or grout lines, utilize the integrated Easy Scrubber:

  1. Step on the flip-down scrubber lever located on the back of the mop head to deploy the scrubber bristles.
  2. Scrub the stubborn area with the bristles while applying steam.
  3. Once the mess is loosened, step on the lever again to retract the scrubber and continue mopping with the pad.

4. Refreshing Carpets (with Carpet Glider)

To refresh low-pile carpets or rugs:

  1. Attach a clean mop pad to the mop head.
  2. Place the mop head into the carpet glider.
  3. Slowly glide the mop over the carpet surface. This is for refreshing only, not deep cleaning.

The microfiber mop pads are reusable and machine washable.

  • Remove the mop pad from the mop head after each use.
  • Machine wash the pads in warm water with mild detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners.
  • Tumble dry on low or air dry.

2. Storing Your Steam Mop

After use, unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely. Empty any remaining water from the tank. The mop can be stored upright in a closet or utility area.
