4. Configuración

4.1. Instalación da batería

1. Abra a tapa do compartimento das baterías na parte traseira da unidade principal.
2. Insert four (4) AA alkaline batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.

4.2. Conexión do manguito

1. Connect the air tube from the arm cuff to the air jack on the side of the main unit. Ensure a secure connection.
2. The cuff should fit comfortably around your upper arm. Refer to the cuff size guide if available.

5. Instrucións de funcionamento

5.1. Preparación para a medición

• Evite comer, beber alcol, fumar ou facer exercicio durante polo menos 30 minutos antes da medición.
• Rest for 5-10 minutes in a quiet environment before taking a measurement.
• Senta-te erguido coas costas apoiadas e os pés apoiados no chan. Non cruces as pernas.
• Place your arm on a flat surface so the cuff is at heart level.
• Ensure clothing does not constrict your arm. Roll up sleeves if necessary.
• Wrap the cuff firmly around your bare upper arm, approximately 2-3 cm above the elbow joint. The air tube should run down the center of your arm.

5.2. Facer unha medida

1. Press the "START/STOP" button to turn on the device. The display will show all symbols briefly, then "00".
2. The cuff will automatically inflate. Remain still and silent during inflation and measurement.
3. Once the measurement is complete, the cuff will deflate, and your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will be displayed on the LCD screen.
4. Press the "START/STOP" button again to turn off the device, or it will automatically shut off after approximately one minute of inactivity.

5.3. Función de memoria

The device stores up to 120 measurements. To view lecturas pasadas:

1. With the device off, press the "MEM" button.

3. Press the "MEM" button repeatedly to scroll through older measurements.
4. To exit memory mode, press the "START/STOP" button or wait for automatic shut-off.
