4.1. Exhibición
The large LCD shows measurement values, units, and various indicators such as battery status, range, and function modes.

4.4. Terminais de entrada
- COM: Terminal común para o cable de proba negro.
- V Ω •))) →|← •F Hz: Input terminal for red test lead for voltage, resistance, continuity, diode, capacitance, and frequency measurements.
- A: Input terminal for red test lead for current measurements up to 10A.
5. Configuración
5.1. Instalación da batería
- Asegúrese de que o multímetro estea apagado.
- Localice a tapa do compartimento das baterías na parte traseira da unidade.
- Use un desaparafusador para afrouxar o(s) parafuso(s) que suxeitan a tapa.
- Remove the cover and insert four (4) AAA batteries, observing correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the cover and secure it with the screw(s).
5.2. Conexión dos cables de proba
Insert the test leads into the appropriate input terminals:
- Conecte sempre o cable de proba negro ao COM terminal.
- Para o voltage, resistance, continuity, diode, capacitance, and frequency measurements, connect the red test lead to the V Ω •))) →|← •F Hz terminal.
- For current measurements (up to 10A), connect the red test lead to the A terminal.
6. Instrucións de funcionamento
Before making any measurement, ensure the test leads are correctly connected and the rotary switch is set to the appropriate function.
6.1. Medición de tensión CA/CCtage (V~ / V-)

ADVERTENCIA: Nunca conecte o multímetro en paralelo a través dun cable de voltaxetage source when in current measurement mode. This can cause a short circuit and damage the meter or circuit.

- Connect the multimeter in series with the circuit, breaking the circuit to insert the meter.
- Aplicar enerxía ao circuíto.

6.3. Medición da resistencia (Ω)
- Asegúrese de que o circuíto ou compoñente estea desconectado.
- Configure o interruptor rotativo en Ω.
- Conecte os cables de proba a través do compoñente.
- Lea o valor de resistencia na pantalla.
6.4. Continuity Test (•))) )
- Asegúrese de que o circuíto ou compoñente estea desconectado.
- Configure o interruptor rotativo en •))).
- Conecte os cables de proba ao compoñente ou cable.
- An audible beep indicates continuity (low resistance). The display will show the resistance value.
6.5. Diode Test (→|←)
- Ensure the diode is de-energized and isolated from the circuit.
- Configure o interruptor rotativo en →|←.
- Connect the red lead to the anode and the black lead to the cathode. A forward voltage drop (e.g., 0.5V to 0.8V) should be displayed.
- Reverse the leads. The display should show OL (Open Loop) for a good diode.
6.6. Medición de capacitancia (F)

7. Mantemento
7.1. Limpeza

When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the batteries as described in Section 5.1. Use only new AAA batteries of the same type.

If the current measurement function fails, the fuse may need replacement. The DT4252 uses a 10A fused input. Refer to the detailed service manual for fuse replacement procedures, or contact qualified service personnel.
