1. Introdución

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, installation, and maintenance of your Jebao XTP-10000 Submersible Pond Pump. 4. Configuración e instalación

1. Desembalaxe: Carefully remove the pump from its packaging. Inspect for any signs of damage.
2. Conexión da mangueira:
   • Identify the appropriate hose size (20mm, 25mm, 32mm, or 40mm) for your application.
   • Trim the stepped outlet connector to the desired diameter.
   • Securely attach your pond hose to the trimmed outlet using a hose clamp (not included) to prevent leaks. The outlet can be rotated for optimal hose routing.

   • Place the pump on a stable, level surface at the bottom of your pond or water feature.
   • Ensure the pump is fully submerged in water. The pump is designed to handle dirty water, but avoid placing it directly in thick sludge to prevent premature clogging.
4. Conexión eléctrica:
   • The pump comes with a 10-meter cable but without a plug. A qualified electrician must connect the cable to a suitable outdoor, weather-protected power supply, incorporating an RCD.
   • Ensure the cable is routed safely to prevent tripping hazards or damage.

5. Instrucións de funcionamento

Once installed and connected to the power supply:

• Posta en marcha inicial: Plug in the pump or switch on the power supply. The pump should start immediately, circulating water.
• Axuste de caudal: The flow rate is fixed at 10,000 L/hr. If reduced flow is desired, it must be achieved through external valves or flow restrictors in your plumbing system. Note that some external controllers may not be compatible and could cause erratic operation.
• Protección térmica: The pump is equipped with a thermal resettable fuse. If the pump overheats (e.g., due to low water level, blockage, or prolonged dry running), it will automatically shut off. • Limpeza do Casing: Periodically remove the pump from the pond and clean the outer casing to remove accumulated debris, leaves, and algae. This helps maintain efficient water intake.
• Limpeza do impulsor:
  • Disconnect power before attempting to open the pump.
  • A bomba c.asing can be opened by pressing two small buttons (refer to product diagram if available, or consult manufacturer for specific opening instructions).
  • Carefully remove the impeller and clean any debris, calcium buildup, or blanket weed from the impeller and its housing. A soft brush and clean water are usually sufficient.
  • Reassemble the pump, ensuring all parts are correctly seated and the casing is securely closed.
• Almacenamento de inverno: In freezing conditions, remove the pump from the pond, clean it thoroughly, and store it in a frost-free location, fully submerged in water or kept moist to prevent seals from drying out.
