This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your SatelliteSale DIRECTV RC73 IR/RF Remote Control. Configuración e programación
1. Instalación da batería
The RC73 remote requires two (2) AA batteries for operation. Ensure correct polarity when inserting.

- Insert two (2) AA batteries, matching the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals as indicated inside the compartment.

2. Pairing with DIRECTV Receiver (RF Mode)
For optimal performance and to control your receiver without direct line-of-sight, pair your RC73 remote in RF (Radio Frequency) mode. This is typically done with Genie HR44 and C41 clients.
- Apunta o mando a distancia ao teu receptor DIRECTV.
- Manteña premido o MUTO e ENTRAR buttons simultaneously until the green light at the top of the remote flashes twice.
- On your TV screen, a message should appear indicating that the remote is now programmed for RF.
- If no message appears, navigate to the receiver's menu: MENÚ > Settings & Help > Configuración > Control remoto > Programa remoto. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process.
3. Programming for TV Control (IR Mode)
To control your television's power, volume, and input, you will need to program the remote using IR (Infrared) mode.
- Acende a túa televisión.
- Manteña premido o MUTO e SELECCIONAR buttons simultaneously until the green light at the top of the remote flashes twice.
- Enter the 5-digit code for your TV brand. Common codes can be found in your TV's manual or online. If you don't know the code, try common codes like 10000, 10001, etc.
