Configuración e primeiro uso

  1. Desembalaxe: Retire con coidado todos os compoñentes da embalaxe. Garde a embalaxe para o seu almacenamento ou transporte futuros.
  2. Limpeza: Before first use, wash the inner pan, glass lid, measuring cup, and rice paddle with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit or power cord in water.
  3. Colocación: Place the rice cooker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or cabinets to allow for proper ventilation and steam release. Ensure the power cord can reach an electrical outlet without being strained.
  4. Conexión de alimentación: Conecte o cable de alimentación a unha toma eléctrica estándar de 120 V CA.

Instrucións de funcionamento

Cociñar arroz:

  1. Medir o arroz: Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount of uncooked rice. One full cup (180ml) of uncooked rice yields approximately 2 cups of cooked rice. The maximum capacity is 5.5 cups of uncooked rice (11 cups cooked).
  2. Enxaugar o arroz: Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold running water until the water runs clear. This removes excess starch and prevents stickiness.
  3. Engadir auga: Place the rinsed rice into the inner pan. Add water according to the rice type and desired consistency. A common ratio for white rice is 1:1 (1 cup rice to 1 cup water). For brown rice, a ratio of 1:2 (1 cup rice to 2 cups water) is often recommended. Refer to the water level markings inside the inner pan for guidance.
  4. Place Inner Pan: Ensure the exterior of the inner pan is dry, then place it into the main unit.
  5. Pechar tapa: Coloque a tapa de vidro firmemente na ola de arroz.
  6. Comezar a cociñar: Press the "COOK" switch down. The "COOK" indicator light will illuminate.
  7. Manter quente automático: Once cooking is complete, the switch will automatically flip up, and the "WARM" indicator light will illuminate. The rice cooker will automatically switch to the "Keep Warm" function for up to 5 hours.
  8. Servir: Use the provided rice paddle to fluff and serve the rice.

Steaming Vegetables or Other Foods:

While this model does not include a dedicated steamer basket, you can use the inner pan for steaming by adding water and placing a heat-safe dish with your food inside, ensuring the water does not touch the food. Cover with the lid and press the "COOK" switch. Monitor cooking closely as there is no automatic shut-off for steaming unless the water fully evaporates.

Notas importantes:

  • Do not open the lid frequently during cooking, as this can affect cooking results.
  • For best results, allow rice to rest on "Keep Warm" for 10-15 minutes after cooking is complete before serving.
  • The "Keep Warm" function is designed to maintain temperature, not to cook. Prolonged use of "Keep Warm" (beyond 5 hours) may dry out or discolor the rice.

Mantemento e Limpeza

Unha limpeza regular garante un rendemento óptimo e prolonga a vida útil da túa cociña arrocera.

  1. Desconectar: Desconecte sempre a cociña arrocera da toma de corrente e déixea arrefriar completamente antes de limpala.
  2. Pan interior: Wash the non-stick inner pan with warm, soapy water using a soft sponge or cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, metal scrubbers, or sharp utensils, as these can damage the non-stick coating. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  3. Tapa de vidro: Wash the glass lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry. Be careful not to immerse the lid if water can get trapped in the knob assembly.
  4. Unidade principal: Limpar o exterior da unidade principal con publicidadeamp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
  5. Measuring Cup and Rice Paddle: Lavar con auga morna e xabonosa, enxaugar e secar.
  6. Almacenamento: Store the rice cooker in a dry place, ensuring all parts are clean and dry before storage.
