5.1. Washing Instructions
- Detach Control: Always detach the control unit(s) from the mattress pad before washing.

- Q: Only parts of my heated mattress pad are getting warm.
- A: This is usually caused by a bunched or pinched heating element. Ensure the mattress pad is laid flat and not tucked in, bunched, or has anything heavy on it. Lay the heated mattress pad flat and run your fingers along the wire, paying special attention to the top and bottom where the wire bends. If any portion of the wire is twisted on itself, manually twist it back.
