Configuración e instalación

Follow these steps carefully to install your GoControl Z-Wave Wall Switch.

1. Wiring the Switch

1. Desactivar a alimentación: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the switch you are replacing and turn it OFF. Verify power is off by attempting to turn on the light or appliance.
2. Eliminar o interruptor antigo: Carefully remove the existing wall plate and switch from the wall box. Disconnect the wires from the old switch, noting which wire was connected to which terminal (Line, Load, Neutral, Ground).
3. Identificar os cables:
   • Liña (En directo): Normalmente negro, procedente do disxuntor.
   • Carga: Usually black, going to the light fixture or appliance.
   • Neutro: Usually white, often bundled together in the back of the box. (Required for Z-Wave switches).
   • Terreo: Normalmente verde ou cobre espido.
4. Conectar un novo interruptor: Connect the wires to the GoControl WS15Z5-1 switch terminals as follows:
   • Conecta o Liña wire to the terminal marked "LINE".
   • Conecta o Carga wire to the terminal marked "LOAD".
   • Conecta o Neutral wire to the terminal marked "NEUTRAL".
   • Conecta o Terra wire to the terminal marked "GROUND".

5. Interruptor de montaxe: Carefully push the wired switch into the wall box. Secure it with the provided screws.

2. Z-Wave Inclusion (Pairing)

To integrate the switch into your Z-Wave network, you need to "include" it with your Z-Wave controller.

1. Put your Z-Wave controller into Inclusion/Pairing mode. (Refer to your Z-Wave controller's manual for specific instructions).
2. On the GoControl WS15Z5-1 switch, quickly press the top or bottom paddle unha vez. The LED indicator on the switch will blink to confirm inclusion mode.
3. The controller will confirm successful inclusion. The switch's LED will stop blinking and remain solid or turn off, depending on its status.
4. If inclusion fails, refer to the Troubleshooting section or try "Exclusion" first.
