4. Configuración e instalación

5.1. Adjustable Closing Force
The door closer can be adjusted to three different force settings (2, 3, and 4) to match the door's weight and width:
- Force 2: Suitable for doors with a maximum weight of 40 kg and a maximum width of 85 cm.
- Force 3: Suitable for doors with a maximum weight of 65 kg and a maximum width of 95 cm.
- Force 4: Suitable for doors with a maximum weight of 85 kg and a maximum width of 110 cm.
To adjust the closing force, refer to the specific adjustment points on the door closer body, typically indicated by numbered screws or valves. Rotate these screws incrementally to increase or decrease the force until the desired closing action is achieved. Consult the placement template for exact adjustment screw locations.
5.2. Adjustable Closing Speed and Latch Speed
The door closer allows for independent adjustment of the main closing speed and the final latching speed (end strike). This ensures the door closes smoothly and latches securely without slamming.
