1. Introdución

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of your CO-Z 1.1 Gallon Water Distiller. Please read this manual thoroughly before initial use and retain it for future reference. This appliance is designed to purify tap water by distillation, removing impurities and contaminants for various uses including drinking, cooking, humidifiers, CPAP machines, and more.

5. Configuración

Follow these steps for the initial setup of your water distiller:

2. Limpar: Before first use, wash the glass collection pot and the interior of the boiling chamber with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
3. Posición: Place the main distiller unit on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
4. Recheo de auga: Open the top cover and fill the stainless steel boiling chamber with tap water. Do not exceed the 'FULL' mark indicated on the interior wall.

6. Instrucións de funcionamento

Operating your CO-Z Water Distiller is straightforward:

1. Encendido: Press the power button on the control panel. The digital display will illuminate.
2. Establecer temporizador (opcional): Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the desired distillation time (0-99 hours). The unit will automatically shut off after the set time. If no time is set, it will run until the water level is low or the internal temperature reaches 300°F.
3. Set Reservation (Optional): The 'REZ' (Reservation) feature allows you to schedule a start time. Use the 'SET' button to toggle between timer and reservation modes. Adjust the reservation time using '+' and '-'.
4. Comezar a destilación: Once settings are confirmed, the distillation process will begin. Water in the boiling chamber will heat up, turn into steam, condense, and drip into the collection pot.

7.1 Cleaning the Boiling Chamber

Mineral deposits will accumulate in the boiling chamber after use. Clean the chamber regularly, ideally after every 1-2 uses, or when significant buildup is visible.

2. Drain Residue: Pour out any remaining water and mineral residue from the boiling chamber.
3. Apply Cleaning Powder: Fill the boiling chamber with hot water up to the 'FULL' line. Add 1 to 4 tablespoons of the included citric acid cleaning powder (adjust based on buildup severity).
4. Remollo: Let the solution soak for 30 minutes to several hours, or overnight for heavy buildup.
5. Scrub (if needed): For stubborn deposits, gently scrub the interior with a soft brush or cloth.
6. Enxágüe: Drain the cleaning solution and rinse the chamber thoroughly with clean water multiple times to remove all residue and cleaning agent.

7.2 Replacing Carbon Filters

The activated carbon packs in the water outlet help to remove any residual odors or VOCs. Replace the carbon filter every 3 to 6 months, or as needed based on water quality and usage.
