1. Introdución

3. Configuración

3.1 Desembalaxe e colocación

Remove all packaging materials, tapes, and protective films from the printer. Place the printer on a stable, flat surface with adequate space for paper trays and connections.

Connect the power cord to the printer's power port and then to a grounded electrical outlet. Do not connect the USB cable at this stage.

3.3 Instalación dos cartuchos de tinta

2. Remove the new HP 64 ink cartridges from their packaging.
3. Insert the black cartridge into the right slot and the tri-color cartridge into the left slot. Push firmly until they click into place.

The printer features two paper trays: a main paper tray and a separate photo paper tray.

• Bandexa principal: Pull out the main input tray, adjust the paper guides, and load plain paper.

4.1 Impresión de documentos e fotos

You can print from a computer, mobile device, or directly from the printer's touchscreen.

• Desde o ordenador: Select 'Print' from your application, choose the HP ENVY Photo 6255, and adjust settings as needed (e.g., paper type, quality, duplex printing).
• From Mobile Device (HP Smart App): Open the HP Smart app, select 'Print Documents' or 'Print Photos', choose the file, and send to the printer.
• Remote Wireless Printing: The HP Smart app allows you to print remotely when connected to the internet.

4.2 Escaneado

Use the HP Smart app or the printer's touchscreen to scan documents or photos.

• Using HP Smart App: Select 'Scan' in the app, choose scan settings (e.g., resolution, file type), and initiate the scan. You can scan using the printer's flatbed or your smartphone camera.
• Using Printer Touchscreen: Select the 'Scan' icon on the 2.2" mono touchscreen, choose scan destination (e.g., computer, email), and adjust settings.

4.3 Copia

5.1 Substitución dos cartuchos de tinta

When an ink cartridge is low or empty, a message will appear on the printer's display or in the HP Smart app. Replace cartridges with genuine HP 64 series ink cartridges.

2. Open the ink cartridge access door. The carriage will move to the center.
3. Press down on the old cartridge to release it, then pull it out.
4. Unpack the new cartridge and remove the protective tape.
5. Slide the new cartridge into its slot until it clicks into place.
