Follow these steps to install or replace your sediment filter cartridge:
- Desactivar o subministro de auga: Locate the main water shut-off valve for your home and turn it off.
- Sistema de despresurización: Open a nearby faucet to relieve pressure in the water lines.
- Abrir a carcasa do filtro: Use a filter wrench to unscrew and remove the filter housing sump.
- Eliminar o filtro antigo: Discard the used filter cartridge. Clean the inside of the filter housing with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Inspect the O-ring for any damage and replace if necessary. Lubricate the O-ring with a silicone lubricant if needed.

6. Instrucións de funcionamento
Once installed, the Tier1 sediment filter operates continuously as water flows through your whole house filtration system. It is designed for a flow rate of 5 gallons per minute (GPM) and effectively captures particles as small as 1 micron.
No further user interaction is required during normal operation until filter replacement is due.
7. Mantemento
Regular replacement of your sediment filter is crucial for maintaining optimal water quality and system performance. The recommended replacement interval for the Tier1 P1_10 filter is every 3 meses. This interval may vary depending on the quality of your incoming water supply and household water usage. A noticeable decrease in water pressure is often an indicator that the filter is becoming clogged and requires replacement.
