1. Introdución

3. Configuración e activación

3.1. Desembalaxe

• Carefully remove the temperature recorder from its shipping carton.
• Inspect the device for any visible damage. Do not use if damaged.

3.2. Activación

The recorder is activated by pulling a designated tab. This initiates the recording process.

1. Locate the 'START UP INDICATOR' tab on the side of the recorder's packaging.
2. Firmly pull the 'TAB' completely out of the unit. This action starts the recording mechanism.
3. Verify that the chart paper has begun to move, indicating active recording.

3.3 Colocación

For accurate temperature monitoring, place the activated recorder in a location that best represents the temperature of the goods being shipped. The device features a peel-and-stick backing for secure attachment to pallets or inside shipping containers.

4. Funcionamento

Once activated, the recorder continuously measures and plots temperature data onto a pressure-sensitive chart paper. The chart moves at a constant speed, providing a time-stamped record of temperature over the 5-day duration.

4.2. Reading the Chart

The chart displays temperature readings in both Fahrenheit and Celsius. The horizontal axis represents time, and the vertical axis represents temperature. To read the chart:

• Identify the time corresponding to the desired reading on the horizontal axis.
• Follow the vertical line from that time up to the recorded temperature trace.
• Read the temperature value on the vertical axis at the point where it intersects the trace.

4.3. Shipping Document

Each recorder includes a three-part shipping document for traceability. This document allows for recording important shipment details such as date, time, shipper, recipient, order number, and contents. The serial number of the recorder is also present for easy cross-referencing.

5.1. Limpeza
