This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient use of your CHACON Set of 4 Remote Switches with Remote Control. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and operation, and retain it for future reference. This product allows you to remotely control electrical lights and appliances plugged into the receiver outlets.

Configuración e instalación

The CHACON remote switches are designed for easy, wireless installation.

1. Insert Battery into Remote Control: The CR2032 battery is typically pre-installed. If not, open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control and insert the CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
2. Plug in the Receiver Outlet: Plug one of the remote-controlled outlets into a standard Type C (EU 2-pin) wall socket. Ensure it is securely seated.

3. Pairing the Remote Control with Outlets:
   • Plug the receiver outlet into a wall socket. The indicator light on the outlet may flash briefly.
   • Within 5 seconds of plugging in the outlet, press the desired 'ON' button (e.g., '1 ON') on the remote control.
   • The outlet's indicator light should stop flashing and remain solid or turn off, indicating successful pairing.
   • Repeat this process for each of the four receiver outlets, assigning them to different 'ON'/'OFF' buttons (1-4) on the remote control.
4. Conectar o dispositivo: Plug the appliance you wish to control into the remote-controlled outlet.

Once set up, operating the remote switches is straightforward.

1. Turning On an Appliance: Press the corresponding 'ON' button (e.g., '1 ON') on the remote control for the desired outlet. The appliance connected to that outlet will turn on.
2. Turning Off an Appliance: Press the corresponding 'OFF' button (e.g., '1 OFF') on the remote control for the desired outlet. The appliance connected to that outlet will turn off.

The remote control operates on a frequency of 433.92 MHz and has a transmission distance of up to 25 meters in an open, free field environment. Obstacles such as walls and furniture may reduce this range.

To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your CHACON remote switches, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Limpeza: Wipe the remote control and outlets with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Substitución da batería: If the remote control's range decreases or it stops responding, replace the CR2032 battery. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote, remove the old battery, and insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.

• Appliance does not turn on/off:
  • Ensure the appliance is properly plugged into the remote outlet and is switched on (if it has its own power switch).
  • Verify the remote outlet is securely plugged into the wall socket and receiving power.
  • Check the remote control battery. Replace it if necessary.
  • Ensure you are within the effective transmission range (25m free field) and there are no significant obstructions.
  • Re-pair the remote control with the specific outlet following the 'Pairing the Remote Control with Outlets' steps in the Setup section.
• O control remoto non responde:
