3. Configuración

3.1. Carga inicial

Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided power adapter. Connect the USB cable to the device's USB interface and the adapter to a power outlet. The charging indicator will typically show the charging status.

3.2. Inserting SIM Card (Optional)

1. Locate the SIM card slot on the side of the device (refer to Figure 2.4).

3. Insert a new roll of 58mm thermal paper into the compartment, ensuring the paper feeds from the bottom and the leading edge extends slightly out of the printer slot. The roll diameter should not exceed 40mm.

3.4. Acendido/apagado

• Para acender: Mantén premido o botón de acendido (normalmente no lateral) ata que a pantalla se ilumine.
• Para apagar: Press and hold the power button until a power-off menu appears on the screen. Select 'Power Off' and confirm.

4. Instrucións de funcionamento

4.1. Navegación básica

The Sunmi V1 operates on an Android platform. Use the touchscreen for navigation, tapping icons to open applications, swiping to scroll, and using the on-screen navigation buttons (Back, Home, Recent Apps) at the bottom of the display.

4.2. Conectando a wifi

1. From the home screen, swipe down from the top to access the quick settings panel, or go to Configuración > Rede e Internet > Wi-Fi.
2. Turn on Wi-Fi. The device will scan for available networks.

4.3. Using the Integrated Printer

The 58mm thermal printer is designed for quick and efficient receipt printing. When an application sends a print command, the printer will automatically activate. Ensure thermal paper is loaded correctly (refer to Section 3.3).

4.4. Using the Scanning Function

The Sunmi V1 features a side key for quick scanning. Depending on the application, pressing this key will activate the device's scanner to read barcodes or QR codes. Ensure the scanning application is open and ready to receive input.

5.1. Limpeza do dispositivo

• For the screen, use a screen-specific cleaning solution and a microfiber cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Regularly clean the printer head with a specialized thermal printer cleaning pen or isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab to ensure optimal print quality.

6 Solución de problemas

6.1. O dispositivo non se acende

• Asegúrate de que a batería estea suficientemente cargada. Conecta o dispositivo ao cargador e agarda uns minutos antes de tentar acendelo de novo.
• Check if the power button is stuck or damaged.

6.2. Printer Not Printing

• Verify that thermal paper is loaded correctly and that the roll is not empty.
• Ensure the printer cover is securely closed.
• Check the application settings to confirm that the print command is being sent.
• Clean the printer head if print quality is poor or inconsistent.

• Reinicie o dispositivo.
