4. Configuración

Before using the CONTEC08A monitor, ensure it is properly powered and the correct cuff is connected.

4.1 Fonte de enerxía

The product can be powered by either batteries or an AC adapter.

• Alimentado por batería: Choose four "AA" batteries (1.5V rechargeable batteries are recommended). Install them according to the polarity markings in the battery compartment.
• Adaptador de CA alimentado: Connect the sphygmomanometer to the power adapter. Insert the power adapter plug into the power adapter socket on the right side of the device.

Nota:

• The power adapter does not charge the batteries.
• When regulated power supply and batteries are used simultaneously, the battery power will not be consumed.
• If the regulated power supply and battery are used as power supply, the device may shut down due to power failure.
• When switching between the power adapter and the battery, power off the device first to prevent instrument shutdown due to power failure.

2. Apply the Cuff: Select the appropriate cuff size (Adult, Pediatric, Infant, or Neonatal). Wrap the cuff firmly around your bare upper arm, ensuring the center of the cuff bladder is positioned over your brachial artery. The index line on the cuff should fall within the indicated range.
