4. Configuración e instalación
This roller blind is designed for exterior mounting. Ensure you have the necessary tools (drill, screwdriver, measuring tape, pencil, level) before starting.
4.1. Escolla a localización de montaxe
Select a flat, stable surface on your balcony, patio, or garden structure. Ensure there is enough clearance for the blind to roll up and down freely, and that the chosen location can support the weight of the blind.
4.2. Mark Drilling Points
- Hold the roller blind in the desired position and mark the outer edges of the roller tube.
- Position the mounting brackets at these marks, ensuring they are level. Mark the screw holes for each bracket.
4.3. Instale os soportes de montaxe
- Drill pilot holes at the marked points. Insert wall plugs if mounting into masonry.
- Securely fasten the mounting brackets using the provided screws.

4.4. Mount the Roller Blind
- Insert the roller blind into the installed brackets. Ensure the operating chain hangs freely and is not obstructed.
- Test the blind by gently pulling the chain to ensure it rolls up and down smoothly.
4.5. Install Child Safety Clip
For safety, attach the child safety clip to the wall or frame, ensuring the chain is taut and out of reach of small children. This prevents entanglement hazards.
5. Instrucións de funcionamento
The vidaXL Outdoor Roller Blind operates manually using a chain mechanism.
- Para baixar o cego: Gently pull the front side of the operating chain downwards. The blind will unroll. Release the chain when the desired height is reached.
- Para levantar o cego: Gently pull the back side of the operating chain downwards. The blind will roll up. Release the chain when the desired height is reached.
