Configuración

Follow these steps to properly set up your MOOER Free Step pedal:

  1. Conexión de alimentación: The Free Step pedal can be powered by a 9V DC power adapter (center negative, not included) or a 9V battery. Connect the power adapter to the DC IN jack or install a fresh 9V battery in the battery compartment (typically located on the underside of the pedal).

1. Wah Mode

  • Activación: In Wah mode, the effect can be activated in two ways:
    • Foot Sensing Circuit: Simply place your foot on the pedal to engage the wah effect. Removing your foot will bypass the effect.
    • 'Toe Down' Footswitch: Press the pedal all the way down with your toe until you feel a click to engage or disengage the wah effect. Use the 'Sensor/Switch' toggle to select this method.
  • Q Range Dial: Use the 'Q' dial on the side of the pedal to adjust the intensity and frequency sweep of the wah effect. Turning it clockwise increases the Q, resulting in a more pronounced and focused wah sound.

2. Modo de volume

  • In Volume mode, the Free Step functions as a standard volume pedal, allowing for smooth and seamless control over your guitar's output level.
  • Min Vol Dial: The 'Min Vol' dial on the side of the pedal sets the minimum volume level when the pedal is in the heel-down position. Adjust this to your desired lowest volume.

3. Wah & Volume (W&V) Mode

  • In W&V mode, the pedal defaults to acting as a volume pedal.
  • Wah Activation: To activate the wah effect within this mode, use the 'toe down' footswitch method (press the pedal all the way down until it clicks). The foot sensing circuit is inactive in W&V mode.
  • Min Vol Dial: The 'Min Vol' dial also functions in this mode to set the minimum volume level.
