4.1 Controis do panel frontal

5. Configuración

5.1 Montaxe da radio

  1. Choose a secure and accessible location in your vehicle that does not obstruct driving or airbag deployment.

5.2 Conexión de alimentación

  1. Connect the red wire of the DC power cord to a positive (+12V) terminal in your vehicle (e.g., fuse box, battery). Ensure it is fused appropriately.
  2. Connect the black wire to a clean, unpainted metal surface for a good ground connection.
  3. Plug the DC power cord into the DC Power Connector on the rear of the radio.

5.3 Conexión de antena

  1. Connect a 50-ohm CB antenna (not included) to the Antenna Connector (SO-239) on the rear of the radio.
  2. For optimal performance and to prevent damage to the radio, it is highly recommended to check the Standing Wave Ratio (SWR) of your antenna system before initial operation. An SWR meter can be used for this purpose.

5.4 Conexión de micrófono

Plug the microphone connector firmly into the Microphone Jack on the front panel of the radio.

5.5 Optional External Speaker/PA Speaker Connection

If desired, connect an optional external speaker to the EXT SP jack or a PA speaker to the PA SP jack on the rear panel. Ensure the speakers have the correct impedance (typically 8 ohms).

Xire o Volume/Off control clockwise to turn the radio on. Continue rotating to adjust the listening volume to a comfortable level.

With the radio on and no signal present, rotate the Squelch control clockwise until the background static noise disappears. This sets the squelch threshold. Rotate counter-clockwise to hear weaker signals.

6.3 Selección de canles

6.4 ANL (Automatic Noise Limiter)

6.5 PA (Public Address) Function

To use the Public Address function, ensure an optional PA speaker is connected to the PA SP jack on the rear panel. Flip the PA/CB cambiar ao PA position. Speak into the microphone, and your voice will be broadcast through the connected PA speaker.
