3. Instrucións de funcionamento

3.1 Writing on Labels

  1. Select a permanent marker for writing. Importante: Do not use whiteboard markers or other non-permanent pens, as the writing may fade or wash off, especially in outdoor conditions.
  2. Write the name of the plant, herb, or vegetable clearly on the flat surface of the label. Allow the ink to dry completely before handling or inserting into soil to prevent smudging.

3.2 Inserting Labels

  1. Gently push the pointed end of the label into the soil next to the corresponding plant.
  2. Ensure the label is inserted deep enough to be stable but not so deep that the written information is obscured. The 15 cm length allows for good visibility above most plants.

4. Mantemento

4.1 Limpeza

The plastic labels can be cleaned with a damp cloth if they become dirty. For stubborn dirt, a mild soap solution can be used. Rinse thoroughly and dry before re-using or storing.

4.2 Re-labeling

If you need to change the plant identification, the permanent marker ink can often be removed with rubbing alcohol or a specialized permanent marker remover. Always test on an inconspicuous area first. After cleaning, ensure the label is dry before writing new information.

4.3 Almacenamento

When not in use, store the labels in a dry place away from direct sunlight to prolong their lifespan.

5 Solución de problemas

5.1 Writing Fades

If the writing on your label fades, it is likely due to the use of a non-permanent marker or extreme weather exposure over a prolonged period. Re-write the label using a high-quality permanent marker. Ensure the label surface is clean and dry before writing.

5.2 Label Breaks

While made from durable plastic, excessive force or accidental impact can cause a label to break. If a label breaks, it cannot be repaired and should be replaced with a new one.
