This manual will guide you through the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your device to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
2. Información de seguridade

4. Configuración
4.1 Instalación da batería
Install batteries in both the outdoor sensor and the main unit in the following order to ensure proper synchronization.
4.1.1 Outdoor Transmitter (Sensor)
- Abra a tapa do compartimento das baterías na parte traseira do sensor exterior.
- Insert 2x AA 1.5V batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Pecha a tapa do compartimento da batería de forma segura.

4.1.2 Base Station (Main Unit)
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the base station.
- Insert 3x AAA 1.5V batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).

Once batteries are installed in both units, the base station will automatically search for the outdoor sensor signal. This may take a few minutes. Ensure both units are within range of each other.
4.2 Colocación
For accurate readings and optimal signal transmission, consider the following placement guidelines:
- Estación base: Place the main unit indoors, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and drafts. It can be placed on a table using its integrated stand or mounted on a wall.
- Sensor exterior: Position the outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location, protected from direct rain and sunlight, to ensure accurate temperature and humidity measurements. While it is designed for outdoor use, extreme weather conditions can affect its performance and lifespan. The wireless transmission range is up to 60 meters (197 feet) in open areas. Walls and other obstacles may reduce this range.

5. Instrucións de funcionamento
The TFA Dostmann Life Weather Station features a clear display and convenient sensor touch controls for easy operation.
5.1 Mostrar máisview
The display shows various information at a glance:
- Data e hora: Current time and date (manually adjustable).
- Temperatura e humidade interiores: Readings for the base station's location.
- Outdoor Temperature and Humidity: Readings transmitted from the wireless sensor.
- Weather Symbols: Forecast based on changes in humidity values (e.g., sun, clouds, rain).
- Max/Min Values: Highest and lowest recorded temperatures and humidity for both indoor and outdoor.

5.2 Sensor Touch Operation
The device uses sensor touch controls located below the display. Gently touch the icons to activate functions.
- LUZ: Touch the "LIGHT" area to activate the backlight for a few seconds.
- CH/▲ (Channel/Up): Press to switch between outdoor sensor channels (if multiple sensors are used) or to increase values during settings.
- CONXUNTO: Press to enter settings mode for time, date, and other parameters.
- MEM/▼ (Memory/Down): Preme para view maximum and minimum recorded values or to decrease values during settings.

5.3 Axuste da hora e da data
Para configurar manualmente a hora e a data:

To switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit, briefly press the CH/▲ button when not in settings mode.

Prema brevemente o MEM/▼ button to cycle through current, maximum, and minimum recorded indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity values. The display will indicate "MAX" or "MIN" when these values are shown.
6. Mantemento
- Limpeza: Limpar o dispositivo cun suave, damp pano. Non use produtos de limpeza ou disolventes abrasivos.
- Substitución da batería: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Always replace all batteries in a unit at the same time.
- Coidado do sensor ao aire libre: To prolong the life of the outdoor sensor and ensure accurate readings, it is recommended to place it in a cool, dry place, protected from direct weather elements.
