4. Configuración e instalación

Follow these steps to set up your air conditioner for first use:

1. Desembalaxe: Retire con coidado a unidade da súa embalaxe. Garde a embalaxe para o seu almacenamento ou transporte futuros.
2. Posicionamento: Place the air conditioner on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is at least 30 cm of clear space around the unit for proper airflow. The integrated floor casters allow for easy movement.

   • Attach the window adapter to the other end of the exhaust hose.
   • Extend the exhaust hose and position the window adapter in a partially open window or a dedicated window sealing kit (if used) to vent hot air outside. Ensure the hose is as straight and short as possible to maximize efficiency.

The Klarstein New Breeze 9 can be controlled via the touch panel on the top of the unit or using the included remote control.

The control panel features an LCD display and LED indicators for various functions. Refer to Figure 2 for the general layout.

Modos de funcionamento:

A unidade ofrece tres modos de funcionamento principais:

• Modo de arrefriamento: Standard operation for cooling rooms. Set your desired temperature between 16°C and 30°C.
• Dehumidification Mode (Drying): Removes excess moisture from the air, reducing humidity. The fan operates at a low speed in this mode.
• Modo de ventilador: Circulates air without cooling. This mode is energy-efficient and can be used for general air movement.

In Cooling and Fan modes, you can select from four fan speeds:

• Baixo
• Medio
• Alto
• Auto (the unit adjusts fan speed based on room temperature)

The programmable timer allows you to set the unit to turn on or off automatically after a specified period. The timer can be adjusted in 0.5-hour increments, up to a maximum of 10 hours.

Modo de suspensión:

Activate Sleep Mode for quieter operation and gradual temperature adjustment during the night. In this mode, the cooling performance is reduced by 3°C over 3 hours, and then the temperature is maintained at that level.

Control remoto:

The remote control provides convenient access to all functions from a distance. Ensure the remote control has working batteries (included) and is pointed towards the unit's receiver.

Limpeza do filtro de aire:

The air filter should be cleaned regularly (every two weeks or more often depending on usage) to prevent dust buildup and maintain airflow.

1. Desconecte o aire acondicionado da toma de corrente.
2. Localiza e retira o filtro de aire (normalmente está na parte traseira ou lateral da unidade).
3. Clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner or wash it gently with lukewarm water and mild detergent.
4. Rinse thoroughly and allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit.

Limpeza do exterior da unidade:

Limpe o exterior da unidade cun suave, damp pano. Non empregue produtos químicos agresivos, abrasivos nin disolventes, xa que poden danar a superficie.

Almacenamento:
