1. Introdución

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Pramac PMI 1000 Inverter Generator. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the generator to ensure proper use and to prevent injury or damage.

2.1 Compoñentes clave

3. Configuración

3.1 Desembalaxe e inspección

1. Retire con coidado o xerador da súa embalaxe.
2. Inspeccione se hai algún dano durante o envío. Póñase en contacto co seu distribuidor inmediatamente se atopa danos.
3. Ensure all accessories listed in the packing list are present.

3.2 Engadir aceite de motor

The generator is shipped without engine oil. It is crucial to add the correct type and amount of oil before first use.

• Coloque o xerador nunha superficie plana.
• Retire o tapón de recheo de aceite/varilla medidora.
• Add recommended engine oil (e.g., SAE 10W-30) to the upper limit mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.
• Volva colocar a tapa/varilla de nivel de aceite de forma segura.

3.3 Engadir combustible

Use gasolina sen chumbo cun octano de 87 ou superior.

• Asegúrate de que o xerador estea apagado e arrefriado.
• Abra a tapa do depósito de combustible.
• Carefully pour fuel into the tank, avoiding overfilling. Leave space for expansion.
• Limpe inmediatamente o combustible derramado.
• Peche ben a tapa do depósito de combustible.

4. Instrucións de funcionamento

4.1 Arranque do motor

1. Place the generator on a firm, level surface outdoors, away from windows and doors.
2. Asegúrate de que todos os dispositivos eléctricos estean desconectados do xerador.
3. Xire a chave do motor á posición "ON".
4. Se o motor está frío, mova a panca do estrangulador á posición "CHOKE".
5. Pull the recoil starter handle slowly until resistance is felt, then pull briskly. Repeat if necessary.
6. Unha vez que o motor arranque, mova gradualmente a panca do estrangulador á posición "RUN".

4.2 Conexión de dispositivos eléctricos

• Deixar que o motor funcione durante uns minutos para que se estabilice.
• Plug in your electrical devices. Do not exceed the generator's rated output.

4.3 Parar o motor

3. Xire a chave do motor á posición "OFF".

Para o almacenamento a longo prazo, prepare o xerador do seguinte xeito:

1. Drain the fuel tank and carburetor. Run the engine until it stops from lack of fuel.
2. Cambiar o aceite do motor.
3. Remove the spark plug and pour a small amount of engine oil into the cylinder. Pull the recoil starter a few times to distribute the oil, then reinstall the spark plug.
4. Limpar o exterior do xerador.
5. Gardar nun lugar limpo, seco e ben ventilado.
