Proper installation is crucial for your child's safety. The Safety 1st Jive car seat can be installed using your vehicle's LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children) system or the vehicle's seatbelt.

Rear-Facing Installation (5-40 lbs)

For rear-facing installation, position the car seat in the back seat of your vehicle. Use the LATCH connectors or route the vehicle's lap and shoulder belt through the designated rear-facing belt path. Ensure the car seat is reclined to the appropriate angle for your infant, as indicated by the level indicator on the side of the seat. The removable infant pillow should be used for smaller babies to provide proper head and body support.

Forward-Facing Installation (22-65 lbs)

For forward-facing installation, position the car seat upright in the back seat.
