3. Configuración

  1. Connect the provided DC 12V power adapter to the 'DC 12V' port on the rear panel.

4.1. Basic Video Switching

The KC601 Pro allows for seamless switching between multiple video sources.

  1. Direct Cut: Press any of the '1', '2', '3', or '4' buttons in the Program Source Select row to instantly switch the live output to that input.
  2. Transition with Preview: Select an input using the 'S1' or 'S2' buttons in the Preview Source Select row. This input will appear on your multi-view monitor.
  3. Use the T-Bar to manually transition the previewed input to the program output, or press the 'AUTO' button for an automatic transition.
  4. Press 'FTB' to fade the program output to black.

4.2. Audio Mixing

The device features an 8-channel audio mixer with a 5-band EQ.

  • The 'AFV/MIX' button allows you to choose between Audio-Follows-Video (audio from the currently selected video input) or a separate audio mix.
  • Individual audio channels (MIC1, MIC2, CH1-CH4) can be selected and adjusted for precise control.

4.3. Advanced Video Effects and Transitions

Enhance your live production with various effects.

  • Chroma Key / Luma Key: Access these features via the 'MENU' button to apply green screen or brightness keying effects. The KC601 Pro supports four powerful USK for chroma keying on each HDMI source.
  • Imaxe en imaxe (PIP): Use the 'A' and 'B' layer buttons to create PIP effects, allowing you to overlay one video source onto another.

4.4. PTZ Camera Control

  • Use the 'PTZ' button to activate PTZ control mode.
  • Utilize the joystick (if connected) or the 'Volume/Focus/Zoom' knob for pan, tilt, and zoom adjustments.
  • Use 'SCENE' and 'SAVE' buttons to store and recall specific camera positions (presets).

4.5. Gravación USB

Record your program output directly to a USB storage device.

  • Ensure a portable hard drive is connected to the 'USB Recording' port.
  • Press the 'MENU' and 'REC' buttons simultaneously to start or stop recording. The device supports H.264 high bit rate recording.
