The HECASA Red Canopy is designed to provide protection from sun and rain for operators of ROPS (Roll-Over Protective Structure) equipped tractors and mowers. Constructed from durable plastic, this canopy is built to withstand various outdoor conditions.

It is compatible with most ROPS equipped tractors and mowers featuring a 2" x 2" or 2" x 3" ROPS. The canopy adds approximately 4 inches to the overall height of the tractor.

2. Información de seguridade

Always ensure the canopy is securely attached to the tractor or mower. Do not operate the vehicle in high winds or when the canopy is damaged. Always dismount the vehicle before adjusting or removing the canopy. Professional installation is recommended to ensure safety.

• Verify all bolts and fasteners are tightened before each use.
• Inspect the canopy and mounting hardware regularly for any signs of wear or damage.
• Do not modify the canopy or its mounting hardware, as this may compromise its structural integrity and safety.
• Be aware of increased vehicle height when operating with the canopy, especially in areas with low clearances.

4. Especificacións

5. Configuración e instalación

Installation requires assembly of the canopy panels to the frame and then mounting the assembled canopy to your tractor's ROPS. Professional installation is recommended. Please use the hardware provided.

5.2 Pasos de montaxe

1. Assemble Canopy Panels: Join the two red plastic canopy panels using the provided connecting strips and bolts. Ensure the textured side of the plastic faces upwards. Do not fully tighten bolts at this stage.
2. Attach Frame to Canopy: Secure the metal frame components to the underside of the assembled canopy panels using the appropriate bolts and nuts. Refer to the included instruction sheet for specific placement.
3. Install ROPS Brackets: Install the lock pin on the roll bar bracket using a washer and cotter pin. Repeat for the other side. Lay the roll bar bracket on top of the roll bar with adjustment teeth towards the rear. Attach the L-Clamp to the roll bar bracket using 3/8" x 2" bolts and lock nuts on top, and 3/8" x 1-1/4" bolts and lock nuts on the bottom.
4. Mount Assembled Canopy: Center the bracket assembly on the roll bar and tighten bolts. Mount the assembled canopy to the roll bar bracket by sliding the front bolts into the slots. Lift the front of the top and engage the rear bolts into the desired slots.
5. Canopy segura: Slide the lock forward over the front bolts. Attach the four clamp knobs to the bolts and tighten them securely. Ensure all bolts are now fully tightened.

Once properly installed, the HECASA Red Canopy operates passively by providing shade and protection from precipitation. No active controls are required for its function.

• Ensure the canopy is securely fastened before operating the tractor or mower.
• The canopy can be removed in seconds for transport or for operating under low branches by loosening the clamp knobs and sliding it off the brackets.
• Always be mindful of the added height when maneuvering your equipment.

7. Mantemento

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and continued performance of your canopy.

• Limpeza: Clean the canopy regularly with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the plastic material.
• Inspección: Periodically inspect all mounting hardware, bolts, and the canopy panels for any signs of wear, cracks, or corrosion. Replace any damaged parts immediately.
• Almacenamento: If removing the canopy for extended periods, store it in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent material degradation.

8 Solución de problemas

8.1 Unclear Installation Instructions

If the provided instruction sheet is unclear, refer to online resources such as product videos or community forums for visual guidance. The installation video (Video 5.1) provides a detailed visual walkthrough.

8.2 Bolts Not Fitting Properly

Ensure you are using the correct bolts for each step as indicated in the instructions. If a bolt hole appears misaligned or too tight, carefully inspect for any obstructions or manufacturing imperfections. In some cases, minor adjustments or re-drilling may be necessary, but this should only be attempted by experienced individuals.

8.3 Canopy Wobbles After Installation

Ensure all mounting bolts and clamp knobs are fully tightened. Check that the ROPS brackets are securely fastened to the tractor's roll bar and that the canopy is properly seated in the adjustment slots. Adding washers to the outside of the canopy where bolts pass through can help reduce wobble by providing a tighter fit.
