Configuración e instalación

The Yamiry Smart Door Lock is designed for easy DIY installation, requiring only a screwdriver. No extra drilling is needed, making it a quick replacement for your existing lock.

1. Prepara a túa porta

Ensure your door meets the required dimensions for installation. The lock is compatible with door thicknesses of 1 3/8 inches or 2 5/32 inches. It is suitable for both left-handed and right-handed doors due to its reversible handle design.

2. Instalar o pestillo

Insert the latch into the door edge and secure it with screws. Ensure the latch bolt is facing the correct direction for your door swing.

3. Install Exterior and Interior Assemblies

Connect the exterior handle assembly to the interior handle assembly through the door, aligning the spindle and wires. Secure with the provided screws. Make sure the cables are not pinched during installation.

4. Insert Batteries

Open the battery cover on the interior assembly and insert 1 AAA battery, ensuring correct polarity. Close the battery cover securely.

After installation, test the lock's functionality using a traditional key and by attempting to operate the handle from both sides. Ensure smooth operation before proceeding to programming.

Your Yamiry Smart Door Lock offers multiple convenient ways to unlock and manage access.

  Place your registered finger on the fingerprint sensor located on the handle. The lock will unlock in approximately 1 second upon successful recognition. You can register over 200 fingerprints.

• Passcode Access

  Enter your registered passcode on the keypad and press '#'. The lock will unlock. You can store over 200 unique passcodes. For enhanced security, you can use anti-peep passcodes by entering random digits before and after your actual code.

• IC Card (Key Fob) Access

  Tap a registered IC card (key fob) on the card reader area of the lock. The lock will unlock. Over 200 IC cards can be registered.

  Download the dedicated app (e.g., TTLock) to your smartphone. Pair your lock via Bluetooth. You can then unlock the door directly from the app. The app also allows for remote unlocking if a Yamiry Gateway (sold separately) is connected.

• Alexa Voice Control (Gateway Required)

  Integrate your smart lock with Amazon Alexa for voice commands. A Yamiry Gateway (sold separately) is required for this feature. Once set up, you can simply say, "Alexa, lock the front door" to secure your home.

  For conventional access or in case of battery depletion, you can always use the provided physical backup keys to unlock the door.

To lock the door from the outside, simply press the '#' key on the keypad. From the inside, you can use the privacy mode button or the handle.

3. App Functions and Management

The lock requires 1 AAA battery. When the battery level is low, the lock will provide an audible or visual alert. Replace batteries promptly to avoid being locked out. To replace, open the battery cover on the interior handle, remove the old battery, insert a new AAA battery with correct polarity, and close the cover.

Limpeza

Clean the lock's exterior surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish and electronic components. Keep the fingerprint sensor and keypad clean for optimal performance.

While the lock has an IP66 rating for water resistance, it is designed for residential use and should not be submerged in water. Protect it from prolonged direct exposure to heavy rain or extreme weather conditions.
