4. Configuración

Follow these steps to set up your GHome Smart WP9 Power Strip:

1. Download the GHome App: Busca "GHome" in your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android) and download the official GHome app.
2. Rexistrarse/Iniciar sesión: Abre a aplicación e crea unha conta nova ou inicia sesión cunha xa existente.
3. Conectar á enerxía: Plug your GHome Smart WP9 Power Strip into a standard 120V AC wall outlet. The indicator light on the power strip should start blinking, indicating it's in pairing mode. If not, press and hold the power button for 5-10 seconds until it blinks rapidly.
4. Engadir dispositivo na aplicación: In the GHome app, tap the "+" icon or "Add Device" to begin the pairing process. Select "Power Strip" or the appropriate device type.
5. Conexión Wi-Fi: Asegúrate de que o teu teléfono intelixente estea conectado a un Rede wifi de 2.4 GHz. The GHome Smart Power Strip supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only. Enter your Wi-Fi password when prompted in the app.
6. Emparellamento completo: Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to complete the pairing. Once connected, the indicator light on the power strip will turn solid.
7. Integración con asistentes de voz: To use voice control, link your GHome account with Alexa or Google Home through their respective apps. Detailed instructions are provided in the video below.

Once your GHome Smart WP9 Power Strip is set up, you can control it in several ways:

5.1. Control de aplicacións

The GHome app provides comprehensive control over your power strip:

• Control de tomas individuais: In the app, you will see separate controls for each of the 3 AC outlets. Tap to turn them on or off independently.
• USB Port Control: The 3 USB ports are controlled as a single unit. Tap the USB control to turn all USB ports on or off.
• Programación: Use the scheduling feature to set specific times for outlets or USB ports to turn on or off automatically. This is ideal for lights, coffee makers, or other routine appliances.
• Temporizadores: Set countdown timers for devices to switch off after a specified duration.
• Control de grupo: If you have multiple GHome smart devices, you can create groups in the app to control them simultaneously with a single command.

5.2. Control de voz

After linking your GHome account to Alexa or Google Home, you can use voice commands:

• Comandos de Alexa: Say "Alexa, turn on [device name]" or "Alexa, turn off [device name]".
• Google Assistant Commands: Say "Hey Google, turn on [device name]" or "Hey Google, turn off [device name]".
• Ensure you have assigned clear, recognizable names to your devices in the GHome app or Alexa/Google Home app for optimal voice control.

5.3. Control manual

The power strip also features a physical power button:

• Botón de encendido principal: Press the main power button on the top of the power strip to turn all connected AC outlets and USB ports on or off simultaneously.

6. Mantemento

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your GHome Smart WP9 Power Strip, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Limpeza: Disconnect the power strip from the wall outlet before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol sprays.

If you encounter issues with your GHome Smart WP9 Power Strip, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• O dispositivo non se conecta á wifi:
  • Asegúrate de que a túa rede wifi sexa de 2.4 GHz. O dispositivo non admite redes de 5 GHz.
  • Check that your Wi-Fi password is entered correctly in the GHome app.
  • Move the power strip closer to your Wi-Fi router to improve signal strength.
  • Reinicia o teu enrutador Wi-Fi e tenta emparellalo de novo.
  • Reset the power strip by unplugging it for 10 seconds and then plugging it back in.

  • Ensure the individual outlet is turned on in the GHome app.
  • If an overload occurs, the power strip's surge protection may have activated. Unplug devices, reset the power strip, and reconnect.
