2. Información de seguridade

5. Configuración

The GODIAG GT101 does not require additional batteries as it draws power directly from the vehicle's electrical system.

  1. Conectar á fonte de enerxía: Attach the red battery clip to the vehicle's positive (+) battery terminal and the black battery clip to the negative (-) battery terminal. Alternatively, use the cigarette lighter adapter to power the device.
  2. Autotest: The GT101 performs a quick self-test upon power-up to ensure it is in good working condition.
  3. Extend Test Lead: Utilize the 20-foot extension cord for enhanced accessibility when testing various points around the vehicle.

6. Instrucións de funcionamento

The GT101 is designed for use on DC 6-40V vehicle electrical systems, including cars, motorcycles, trucks, buses, construction vehicles, ships, and tractors.

6.1 voltage and Polarity Testing

Touch the probe tip to the circuit or component to be tested. The digital display will show the voltage, and the LED indicator lights will indicate polarity:

6.6 Relay Test

Use the provided Simple Relay Test Adapter and Connection Leads to test automotive relays. Connect the adapter to the relay and the GT101. The tester can activate the relay and check its operational status.

6.7 Injector Test and Cleaning

The GT101 includes a DIY injector cleaning adapter kit.

6.8 Component Activation and Testing

The GT101 can supply power to electrical components for activation and testing. This allows for verification of component function without needing to fully reassemble the circuit. Use caution to avoid over-powering components.

6.9 Poor Ground Testing

By applying a known good ground or positive voltage, the GT101 can help identify poor ground connections in a circuit.

6.10 Tracking and Locating Shorts

The GT101 can assist in tracing and locating short circuits by providing power and monitoring current draw, helping to isolate the fault area.

7. Mantemento

  • Limpeza: Wipe the tester and leads with a soft, damp pano. Non use produtos de limpeza ou disolventes abrasivos.
  • Almacenamento: Store the GT101 and its accessories in the provided carrying case in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
