1. Introdución

This manual provides essential instructions for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your Generic RG15B1/E infrared replacement remote control. This remote is designed to be compatible with various Midea room air conditioner models as listed above. Please ensure your original remote matches the appearance of this replacement for full compatibility.

2. Configuración

2.1 Instalación da batería

The remote control requires two (2) CR2 batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install the batteries:

  1. Localice a tapa do compartimento da batería na parte traseira do control remoto.
  2. Slide the cover downwards or press the release tab (if present) to open the compartment.
  3. Insert two CR2 batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.

2.2 Uso inicial

This replacement remote control does not require any programming or code setup. Once batteries are correctly installed, it is ready for use with compatible Midea air conditioner models.

3. Instrucións de funcionamento

Point the remote control directly towards the air conditioner's receiver when operating. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the unit.

3.1 Funcións dos botóns

  • ON/OFF (Red Button): Acende ou apaga o aire acondicionado.
  • MODO: Cambia ciclicamente polos modos de funcionamento (por exemplo, Refrixeración, Ventilador, Secado, Quecemento, Automático).
  • TEMP ▲ / ▼: Axusta a configuración de temperatura cara arriba ou cara abaixo.
  • VELOCIDADE DO FAN: Axusta a velocidade do ventilador (por exemplo, Baixa, Media, Alta, Automática).
  • TEMPORIZADOR: Axusta o temporizador para o acendido/apagado automático.
  • DURMIR: Activa ou desactiva o modo de repouso para un funcionamento cómodo pola noite.
  • ECO: Activa o modo de aforro de enerxía.
  • LED: Turns the display light on the air conditioner unit on or off.
  • AUTOMÁTICO: Selects automatic operation mode based on room temperature.
  • UN TOQUE: Activates a pre-set comfort setting.

4. Mantemento

4.1 Substitución da batería

Replace batteries when the remote control's range decreases or if the air conditioner does not respond to commands. Always replace both batteries simultaneously with new CR2 batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.

4.2 Limpeza

Limpe o mando a distancia cun pano suave e seco. Non empregue produtos de limpeza líquidos, abrasivos nin disolventes químicos, xa que poden danar a superficie ou os compoñentes internos do mando a distancia.

5 Solución de problemas

  • O mando a distancia non responde:
    • Comprobe se as baterías están instaladas correctamente coa polaridade correcta.
    • Substitúe as pilas antigas por outras novas.
    • Asegúrese de que non haxa obstrucións entre o mando a distancia e o receptor do aire acondicionado.
    • Confirma que o mando a distancia está apuntando directamente ao aire acondicionado.
  • Air conditioner functions incorrectly:
    • Verify that your Midea air conditioner model is listed as compatible with this remote control.
    • Refer to your air conditioner's original manual for specific function details.
