3. Configuración

3.1 Limpeza inicial

1. Before first use, wash the glass carafe, portafilter, and removable grinding chamber with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
2. Wipe the exterior of both appliances with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main units in water.

3.2 Espresso Maker Setup (Koblenz CKM-650 EIN)

1. Place the espresso maker on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
2. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water. Ensure the water level does not exceed the maximum fill line.
3. Insert the metal filter into the portafilter handle.
4. Attach the portafilter to the brewing head by aligning it and twisting firmly to the right until it locks into place.
5. Ensure the glass carafe is placed on the drip tray beneath the portafilter.

3.3 Coffee Grinder Setup (Hamilton Beach 80350R)

1. Fill the removable grinding chamber with whole coffee beans or spices. Do not overfill.
2. Securely place the lid on the grinding chamber.

4.2 Making Espresso (Koblenz CKM-650 EIN)

1. Ensure the water reservoir is filled and the portafilter with ground coffee is securely attached.

1. After brewing espresso, ensure there is sufficient water in the reservoir.

5.3 Descaling (Espresso Maker)

Regular descaling is essential to maintain optimal performance and extend the life of your espresso machine. The frequency depends on water hardness and usage. Follow these general steps:

1. Prepare a descaling solution according to the descaler product instructions (usually a mix of water and descaling agent).
