5. Configuración

5.1 Conexión de alimentación

5.2 Conexións de entrada

The MIX-8 supports various input types:

• Micrófonos: Connect XLR microphones to the XLR inputs on channels 1-8. For condenser microphones, activate the +48V phantom power switch for the respective channel.

Each input channel (1-8) has dedicated controls:

• GAÑA: Adjust this knob to set the input level for the connected device. Aim for a strong signal without clipping (distortion).
• EQ (alto, medio, baixo): Use these three knobs to adjust the treble, midrange, and bass frequencies of the individual channel.
• AUX: Controls the amount of signal sent to the auxiliary output.
• FX: Adjusts the amount of signal sent to the internal DSP effects processor.
• PAN: Positions the channel's sound in the stereo field (left to right).
• MUTO: Press the MUTE button to silence the channel. The corresponding LED will illuminate when muted.

6.2 DSP Effects (FX)

The MIX-8 features 99 built-in DSP effects. To select and apply effects:

1. Use the PROGRAM knob to scroll through the 99 available effects, displayed on the digital screen.
2. Press the PROGRAM knob to confirm your selection.
3. Adjust the FX knob on each channel to send the desired amount of signal to the effects processor.
4. Use the dedicated FX return fader to control the overall volume of the applied effects.

6.3 7-Band Stereo Graphic Equalizer

The master 7-band graphic equalizer allows for fine-tuning the overall output sound:

• Adjust the faders for each frequency band (e.g., 63Hz, 150Hz, 400Hz, 1KHz, 2.5KHz, 6.4KHz, 12KHz) to boost or cut specific frequencies in the main mix.

6.4 USB/MP3 Playback and Recording

The integrated USB player supports MP3 files and can also function as a sound card for PC recording:
