The Studebaker SB2000 can be powered by either AC electricity or batteries.

AC Power (Recommended for Home Use)

1. Ensure the radio is switched OFF.
2. Insert the small end of the AC power adapter into the AC Power Input jack on the back of the radio.
3. Plug the other end of the AC power adapter into a standard 120V/60Hz wall outlet.

Battery Power (For Portable Use)

1. Ensure the radio is switched OFF.

1. To turn the radio ON, rotate the Volume Knob clockwise until you hear a click and the radio powers on.
2. Continue rotating the Volume Knob to adjust the desired listening level.
3. To turn the radio OFF, rotate the Volume Knob counter-clockwise until you hear a click and the radio powers off.

1. Slide the AM/FM Selector Switch to your desired band (AM or FM).
2. Slowly rotate the Tuning Dial to scan for available stations. The indicator on the dial will move to show the selected frequency.
