The Studebaker SB2000 can be powered by either AC electricity or batteries.
AC Power (Recommended for Home Use)
- Ensure the radio is switched OFF.
- Insert the small end of the AC power adapter into the AC Power Input jack on the back of the radio.
- Plug the other end of the AC power adapter into a standard 120V/60Hz wall outlet.
Battery Power (For Portable Use)
- Ensure the radio is switched OFF.

- To turn the radio ON, rotate the Volume Knob clockwise until you hear a click and the radio powers on.
- Continue rotating the Volume Knob to adjust the desired listening level.
- To turn the radio OFF, rotate the Volume Knob counter-clockwise until you hear a click and the radio powers off.

- Slide the AM/FM Selector Switch to your desired band (AM or FM).
- Slowly rotate the Tuning Dial to scan for available stations. The indicator on the dial will move to show the selected frequency.
