The Netatmo Smart Door Lock is designed for easy self-installation on doors equipped with a European cylinder. The process typically takes only a few minutes.
1. Check Door Compatibility
Ensure your door is compatible with the Netatmo Smart Door Lock. The lock requires a European cylinder. You can verify compatibility by measuring your existing cylinder and checking the requirements.

2. Measure Your Door Cylinder
Measure the internal and external lengths of your existing cylinder. The Netatmo Smart Door Lock supports extensions up to 50mm on both the interior and exterior sides.

3. Pasos da instalación
- Remove your existing cylinder.
- Insert the Netatmo Smart Door Lock cylinder into the door.
- Secure the lock with the provided screw.
- Attach the interior and exterior modules.
- Insira as pilas.
- Download the Netatmo Security app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair your lock and Smart Keys.

The Netatmo Smart Door Lock offers multiple ways to secure and access your home:
- Vía Smartphone: Use the Netatmo Security app on your smartphone. The lock connects via secure, encrypted Bluetooth when you are in proximity to the door.
- Via Smart Key (NFC): Insert a Netatmo Smart Key into the lock. These keys are tamper-proof and cannot be duplicated.

Managing Access and Keys
The Netatmo Security app allows you to fully control access to your home:
- Add/Deactivate Keys: Easily add new Smart Keys or instantly deactivate a lost or stolen key via the app.
- Compartir acceso: Securely share access with guests by sending an invitation via your smartphone, which acts as a digital key.

Substitución da batería
The Netatmo Smart Door Lock has a battery life of over one year. You will receive notifications when it's time to replace the batteries. Always use high-quality AAA/LR03 batteries for optimal performance.

In case the batteries completely drain, the lock features an emergency micro-USB connection. This allows you to temporarily reactivate the lock to gain access and replace the batteries.
