5. Configuración

5.1 Desembalaxe e colocación

1. Remove all packaging materials and ensure the appliance is free from damage.
2. Place the portable freezer on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is at least 10 cm (4 inches) of space around all sides for proper ventilation.
3. Before initial use, it is recommended to let the unit stand upright for at least 6 hours to allow the refrigerant to settle.

• 12/24V DC (Car/RV/Truck): Connect the DC power cable to the DC input port on the freezer and then to your vehicle's 12V or 24V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket).
• 100-240V AC (Home/Indoor): Connect the AC adapter to the AC input port on the freezer, then plug the AC power cable into a standard wall outlet.

Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the freezer and the power source.

5.3 Battery Protection Mode

The unit features a 3-stage battery protection system (H/M/L) to prevent your vehicle battery from draining. This setting can typically be adjusted via the control panel. Refer to the operating section for details on changing this setting.

6.2 Axustar a temperatura

1. Turn on the freezer by pressing the Power button.
2. Press the Temperature Up or Down buttons to set your desired temperature. The display will flash the set temperature and then return to showing the current internal temperature.
3. The unit will automatically begin cooling or heating to reach the set temperature.

6.3 Fridge and Freezer Functionality

The Alpicool KM15 operates as both a refrigerator and a freezer, capable of maintaining temperatures from -4°F to 68°F (-20°C to 20°C).

• Modo conxelador: Set the temperature to below 32°F (0°C) for freezing items like ice cream, meat, or making ice cubes.
• Modo frigorífico: Set the temperature between 32°F (0°C) and 68°F (20°C) for chilling beverages, fruits, and vegetables.

6.4 Anti-Vibration Feature

The Alpicool KM15 is designed with anti-vibration and anti-shaking capabilities, allowing it to operate smoothly even on rugged roads or at inclines up to 40 degrees, making it suitable for off-road use.

7. Mantemento

7.1 Limpeza

1. Desenchufe sempre o aparello antes de limpar.

The Alpicool KM15 features a manual defrost system. Frost will accumulate on the interior cooling surfaces over time, especially in humid conditions.
