5. Configuración

Follow these steps to set up your disc sander before initial use.

1. Desempaquetar: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all accessories listed in the "Product Accessories" section are present.
2. Colocación: Place the sander on a stable, level workbench. The shock-absorbing foot pads should provide stability.
3. Seguro (opcional): If desired, use the desktop fixing holes to permanently mount the sander to your workbench for added stability during heavy use.
4. Attach Sandpaper:

6. Instrucións de funcionamento

Follow these guidelines for safe and effective operation of your disc sander.

1. Encendido: Flip the power switch (refer to Figure 2) to the "ON" position.
2. Axustar a velocidade: Use the speed control on the power adapter to select the desired output speed, ranging from 2000 to 6000 revolutions per minute (r/min). Start with a lower speed for delicate work and increase as needed for more aggressive material removal.
3. Técnica de lixado:
   • Hold the workpiece firmly against the stainless steel workbench.
   • Gently bring the workpiece into contact with the rotating sandpaper disc.
   • Apply even, light pressure. Avoid pressing too hard, as this can overheat the motor, damage the workpiece, or wear out the sandpaper prematurely.
   • Move the workpiece smoothly across the disc to ensure even sanding and prevent grooves.

7. Mantemento

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your disc sander.

• Limpar despois do uso: Always unplug the machine before cleaning. Use a brush or compressed air to remove dust and debris from the motor housing, workbench, and around the sanding disc.
• Substitución de papel de lixa: When the sandpaper becomes worn, clogged, or loses its abrasive quality, replace it with a new 75mm disc. Ensure the machine is unplugged before changing sandpaper.
