4. Configuración

4.1. Conexión da antena

Carefully screw the desired antenna (high-gain or tactical short) onto the antenna connector at the top of the radio. Do not overtighten.

The UV-5R Mini features a direct USB-C charging port on the back of the radio. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the radio and a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank, computer USB port). The charging indicator will show the charging status. 1. Turn on the UV-5R Mini.
2. Press and hold the center pairing button (often labeled 'V/M' or similar, refer to 'FUNCTION KEY ANALYSIS' image) while turning on the device to enter pairing mode. The display will show 'SEARCH SEEK...'.
3. On the other radio, press and hold its transmit button.
4. The UV-5R Mini will scan and display the detected frequency.
5. After scanning, press the function button to select a channel and save the frequency.
6. You can now communicate on the newly copied channel.
