  • Check all buckles, straps, and adjustments are securely fastened before each use.
  • Do not use the carrier for activities that could be dangerous, such as cooking, running, cycling, or driving.
  • Be aware of your baby's temperature. Dress your baby appropriately for the weather, remembering that the carrier adds a layer of warmth.
  • Practice using the carrier with a doll or with assistance before carrying your baby.
  • Regularly inspect the carrier for any signs of wear, tear, or damage. Discontinue use if any damage is found.
  • Minimum weight: 3.5 kg (7.7 lbs). Maximum weight: 15 kg (33 lbs). Do not exceed these limits.

Before placing your baby in the carrier, familiarize yourself with its components and adjustment points. The DERYAN Nova features soft padded shoulder straps and a wide waist belt for optimal comfort and support.

  1. Waist Belt Adjustment: Fasten the waist belt securely around your natural waist or hips. Ensure it is snug but comfortable, distributing your baby's weight evenly.
  2. Axuste da correa do ombreiro: The shoulder straps can be adjusted for length. For optimal comfort, ensure they are snug and distribute weight across your shoulders without digging in. The straps can be worn straight or crossed in the back for different carrying positions and comfort levels.
  3. Back Strap/Chest Clip: If using the shoulder straps straight, connect the back strap (or chest clip when worn on the back) to keep the shoulder straps from slipping. Adjust its height for comfort.
  4. Baby Seat Adjustment: The width of the seat where your baby sits should be adjustable to ensure a proper M-position for their hips. Ensure the fabric extends from knee-to-knee.
