O Campingaz Sigma 1 CV Gas Plancha comes largely pre-assembled for convenience. Follow these steps to prepare your griddle for first use.

1. Desembalaxe: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the griddle for any damage. Ensure all components listed in the manual are present.
2. Colocación: Place the griddle on a stable, level, non-combustible surface, away from any flammable materials. Ensure there is adequate clearance from walls or other structures.
3. Connect Gas Cartridge:

   The griddle operates with a Campingaz CV 470 Plus gas cartridge. Ensure the control knob is in the "OFF" position before connecting.

   Attach the hose regulator to the gas cartridge following the instructions provided with the regulator. Then, connect the other end of the hose to the griddle's gas inlet. Hand-tighten all connections securely. Do not overtighten.

5. Install Ignition Battery: The electronic ignition requires a battery. Locate the battery compartment (usually near the ignition button) and insert the battery as indicated by the polarity markings.

Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your Campingaz Sigma 1 CV Gas Plancha.

1. Prequecemento:

   Ensure the lid is open. Turn the control knob to the "HIGH" position. Press and hold the electronic ignition button until the burner ignites. You should hear a click and see a flame through the ventilation holes.

   If the burner does not ignite after several attempts, turn the control knob to "OFF", wait 5 minutes, and repeat the ignition process. If ignition still fails, refer to the Troubleshooting section.

   Once ignited, close the lid and allow the griddle to pre-heat for 5-10 minutes on high heat. The enameled steel surface (30 x 45 cm, 1350 cm²) will heat evenly thanks to the Blue Flame technology.
