The dual filtration system combines the effectiveness of the bi-flux cartridge with the MikroPLASTIK-STOP filter. The bi-flux filter reduces water hardness, chlorine, heavy metals, and organic chlorinated solvents, preserving essential minerals. The MikroPLASTIK-STOP filter is specifically designed to block microplastic particles with a diameter ≥ 0.1 µm, achieving over 99.99% reduction for particles ≥ 1 µm.

Instrucións de configuración

  1. Desembalar e limpar: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Wash the pitcher, lid, and inner funnel with mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly. Do not wash the filter cartridges with soap.
  2. Prepare bi-flux Filter: Submerge the bi-flux filter cartridge in cold water for approximately 15 minutes to remove any air bubbles.
  3. Install bi-flux Filter: Insert the prepared bi-flux filter firmly into the designated slot in the bottom of the inner funnel. Ensure it is securely seated.
  4. Install MikroPLASTIK-STOP Filter: Attach the MikroPLASTIK-STOP filter to the bottom of the bi-flux filter, twisting gently until it clicks into place.
  5. Assemble Pitcher: Place the inner funnel with the installed filters into the pitcher. Secure the lid onto the pitcher.
  6. Filtración inicial: Fill the pitcher with tap water through the Quick-Fill door. Allow the water to filter through. Discard the first two full pitchers of filtered water. This primes the filters and removes any loose carbon particles.
  7. Set Analog Timer: The pitcher is equipped with an analog timer on the lid. Rotate the dial to set the current month or the month of filter installation. This serves as a manual reminder for filter replacement.

Instrucións de funcionamento

  1. Enchendo a xerra: To fill the pitcher, simply place it under a running tap. The convenient "Quick-Fill" automatic door on the lid will open automatically, allowing you to fill the pitcher without removing the entire lid.
  2. Proceso de filtración: Water will slowly pass through the bi-flux and MikroPLASTIK-STOP filters, undergoing a 6-stage filtration process. This controlled speed ensures maximum effectiveness in reducing unwanted substances.
  3. Serving Filtered Water: Once the water has filtered into the main reservoir, it is ready for consumption. Pour directly from the pitcher.

Mantemento e substitución de filtros

Regular maintenance and timely filter replacement are crucial to ensure the continued quality and potability of your filtered water.

Programa de substitución do filtro:

  • LAICA bi-flux Filter: Replace approximately every 1 month or after filtering 150 liters of water.
  • LAICA MikroPLASTIK-STOP Filter: Replace approximately every 1 year or after filtering 1000 liters of water.

Use the analog timer on the lid as a manual reminder for filter replacement. Adjust it each time you install a new filter.

Substitución de filtros:

  1. Remove the lid and the inner funnel from the pitcher.
  2. Carefully detach the old filter(s) from the funnel.

  4. Prepare the new bi-flux filter by submerging it in cold water for 15 minutes.
  5. Install the new bi-flux filter and, if replacing, the new MikroPLASTIK-STOP filter, following steps 3 and 4 of the "Setup Instructions" section.
  6. Reassemble the pitcher and perform the initial filtration steps (discarding the first two pitchers of water).
  7. Reset the analog timer on the lid to reflect the new filter installation date.

Wash the pitcher, lid, and inner funnel regularly with mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleaners or put the filters in the dishwasher.

Resolución de problemas

If you encounter any issues with your LAICA MikroPLASTIK-STOP water filter pitcher, please consider the following:

  • Filtración lenta: This is normal for effective filtration. If it becomes excessively slow, ensure filters are correctly installed and not clogged. It might also indicate the filter is nearing the end of its life.
  • Sabor/olor inusual: Ensure the filters were properly primed (first two pitchers discarded). If the taste/odor persists, replace the filters.
  • Filtración: Check that all components (funnel, filters, lid) are correctly assembled and securely seated.
