Carefully remove the plasma cutter and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.

2. Conexión de alimentación

The AIC45II operates on both 110V and 220V power supplies. Ensure your power source matches the machine's requirements and is equipped with an appropriate circuit breaker. Connect the power cord securely to a grounded outlet.

3. Air Compressor and Filter Regulator Connection

A clean, dry air supply is crucial for optimal performance. Connect your air compressor to the air filter regulator. Then, connect the air filter regulator to the plasma cutter's air inlet. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent air leaks. The air filter regulator helps remove moisture and oil from the air supply.

3. Selecting 2T/4T Mode

The plasma cutter supports both 2T (Two-Touch) and 4T (Four-Touch) modes. Select the appropriate mode using the switch on the control panel:

• 2T Mode: Press and hold the torch trigger to start the arc and cut. Release the trigger to stop. This mode is suitable for short cuts.
• 4T Mode: Press and release the trigger to start the arc. Press and release again to stop. This mode is ideal for longer cuts, reducing operator fatigue.

4. Non-Touch Pilot Arc Operation

The non-touch pilot arc feature allows for easy arc initiation without direct contact between the torch tip and the workpiece. This is particularly beneficial for cutting painted, rusty, or expanded metals. Position the torch approximately 1/8 inch (3mm) above the material before pressing the trigger.

5. Cutting Guidelines

The AIC45II is capable of cutting various metals including stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, copper, and titanium. It can achieve clean cuts through 10mm (approximately 3/8 inch) and has a maximum cutting thickness of 16mm (approximately 5/8 inch).
