5. Configuración e instalación
The KALADA LED Car Ambient Light System is designed for ultra-thin, invisible, and non-destructive installation. Professional installation is recommended for optimal results, especially for complex wiring. Always ensure your vehicle's power is off before beginning installation.
5.1. Pasos xerais de instalación
- Colocación do plan: Determine the desired locations for the light strips (e.g., dashboard, doors, footwells, storage areas). Refer to Figure 3 for common installation points.
- Preparar superficies: Clean the installation surfaces thoroughly to ensure proper adhesion of the light strips and controllers.
- Install Light Strips: Carefully insert the acrylic fiber optic guide light strips into gaps or along edges of your car's interior. The strips are flexible and can be cut to length if necessary (ensure cuts are clean and sealed if possible to maintain light integrity).
- Connect LED Emitters: Connect the small LED emitters to the ends of the fiber optic strips. These emitters provide the light source.
- Controladores de montaxe: Securely mount the main control box and sub-controllers in discreet locations using the provided car tape and dedicated stickers. Ensure they are accessible for wiring but hidden from view.

The main power wire includes an independent switch for basic on/off control of the lighting system. Depending on the system configuration, this switch may also cycle through basic color modes.
