5. Instrucións de configuración

Follow these steps to assemble and prepare your brewing system for first use:

  1. Desempaquetar compoñentes: Carefully remove all items from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Clean All Parts: Before first use, thoroughly wash all components that will come into contact with wort or beer (brewing pot, inner pot/malt basket, circulating arm, filter screen, condensing coil) with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and sanitize as per standard brewing practices.
  3. Assemble Malt Basket: Place the filter screen at the bottom of the inner pot (malt basket).
  4. Insert Malt Basket: Carefully lower the assembled inner pot into the main brewing pot.
  5. Attach Circulating Arm: Connect the circulating arm to the designated outlet on the brewing pot. Ensure it is securely fastened and positioned to allow wort circulation.
  6. Connect Circulating Pump: The circulating pump is integrated. Ensure its connections are secure.
  7. Position Condensing Coil: If using for cooling, place the condensing coil into the brewing pot after the boil phase. Connect water inlet and outlet hoses (not included) to the coil for water circulation.

  • Botón POWER: Adjusts the heating power (100-1800W for 110V, 100-2500W for 220V, in 100W intervals).
  • Botón TIMER: Sets the duration for each brewing stage (1-180 minutes).
  • Botón START/STOP: Initiates or pauses the brewing process.
  • MANUAL/PAUSE Button: Switches to manual mode or pauses the current operation.
  • AUTO/PAUSE Button: Switches to automatic mode or pauses the current operation.
  • Botóns +/-: Used to increase or decrease values for temperature, power, and time settings.
  • Recipe Memory: The system can memorize up to 10 recipes for convenient recall.
  • Hops-Adding Reminder: The system will advise you when to add hops during the boiling phase in auto mode.

6.2. Brewing Process Steps

The general brewing process involves 7 steps:

  1. Desinfectar: Thoroughly clean and sanitize all equipment that will come into contact with the wort or beer.
  2. Mash: Add water to the brewing pot and heat to the desired mashing temperature. Add your grains to the inner pot (malt basket). The system can mash up to 17.6 lbs of malt.
  3. Saccharify: This is the process where enzymes convert starches into fermentable sugars. The system supports automatic step mashing with 7 programmable stages. You can program individual temperatures and durations for each stage.

  4. Filtro: After saccharification, the wort is separated from the spent grains. The integrated filter screen helps in this process.
  5. Ferva: Heat the wort to boiling temperature. The system will remind you when to add hops if using auto mode.
  6. Cool: Rapidly cool the wort to fermentation temperature. The 28.8 ft / 8.8 m condensing coil can be used for this purpose. Connect cold water to the inlet and allow it to flow through and out the outlet.

  7. Fermentación: Transfer the cooled wort to a fermenter (not included) and add yeast to begin fermentation.

6.3. Circulating Water Pump Operation

The built-in circulating pump ensures even temperature distribution during saccharification and mashing by recirculating the wort through the circulating arm.

  • The pump has an independent ON/OFF switch located on the front panel.
  • A flow rate regulator allows you to adjust the intensity of the wort circulation as needed.
  • Ensure the circulating arm is properly installed before operating the pump.

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your brewing system and ensure consistent beer quality.
