4. Configuración
4.1. Cargando o dispositivo
Ensure the tattoo pen is fully charged before first use. Connect the charging cable to the pen's charging port and a suitable USB power adapter. The display will indicate the battery percentage (Figura 5).
4.2. Installing a Cartridge Needle
- Select the desired Poseidon Tattoo Cartridge Needle. Ensure the cartridge is sterile and undamaged (Figure 8).
- Gently push the cartridge needle into the front opening of the tattoo pen until it clicks securely into place.
- To remove, twist slightly and pull the cartridge out.

5.1. Acendido/apagado
Press and hold the power button (labeled "Switch" in Figure 5) for a few seconds to turn the device on or off. The display will illuminate upon activation.
5.2. Axuste Voltage
Use the "+" and "-" buttons (labeled "Voltage Increase key" and "Voltage Reduction key" in Figure 5) to adjust the output voltage. The recommended voltage for shading and lining is 6-9V, but this can be adjusted between 4-12V based on your specific needs and needle type.
5.3. Adjusting Needle Stroke (Flip Pen)
The "FLIP PEN" mechanism allows for stroke adjustment. Rotate the grip section of the pen to adjust the needle depth. Refer to the markings on the pen body for precise adjustments (Figure 3 and Video 1).
5.4. Tattooing Process
- Ensure the tattoo pen is properly assembled and charged.
- Dip the needle into the tattoo ink cup, ensuring the needle is adequately saturated (Video 1).
- Begin tattooing on your practice skin or client, maintaining proper hygiene and safety protocols.

6.1. Cleaning the Tattoo Pen
The grip of the tattoo pen is autoclavable (Figure 3), allowing for thorough sterilization. For the main body of the pen, wipe it down with a sterile wipe or disinfectant solution after each use. Do not submerge the entire pen in liquid.
6.2. Cartridge Needle Disposal
Always dispose of used cartridge needles in a designated sharps container immediately after use to prevent accidental injury and contamination. Cartridges are single-use and sterilized with EO Gas (Figure 8).
6.3. Almacenamento
Store the tattoo pen and accessories in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the provided carrying case for protection during transport and storage.
