6. Configuración

6.1 Carga do dispositivo

Before first use, fully charge the adapter. Connect the Micro USB charging cable to the device's charging port and the other end to a 5V/1A USB power source. The indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 4.5 hours.

6.2 Encendido/apagado

To power on the device, slide the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position. To power off, slide it to 'OFF'.

7. Modos de funcionamento

The VIKEFON Bluetooth Audio Adapter offers three distinct operating modes: Receiver (RX), Transmitter (TX), and Bypass. Select the desired mode using the mode switching slider on the device.

7.1 Modo receptor (RX)

In RX mode, the adapter receives Bluetooth audio from your smartphone, tablet, or PC and outputs it to a wired audio system (e.g., home stereo, speakers, headphones). This mode enables wireless streaming to existing non-Bluetooth audio equipment.

1. Slide the mode switch to 'RX'.
2. Connect the adapter's audio output (3.5mm AUX RX Input or OPTICAL In (RX)) to your audio system's input using the appropriate cable.
3. The indicator light will flash, indicating pairing mode.
4. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet), search for 'VIKEFON BT-B2X' (where X is 1 or 2) in the Bluetooth settings and pair.
5. Once paired, the indicator light will become solid, and audio will stream wirelessly.

NFC Pairing (RX Mode Only)

For quick pairing in RX mode, ensure your mobile phone has NFC enabled. Place your NFC-enabled phone next to the adapter's NFC induction area while the adapter is in pairing mode. Your phone should prompt to connect automatically.

7.2 Modo transmisor (TX)

In TX mode, the adapter transmits audio from a non-Bluetooth source (e.g., TV, PC, CD player) to Bluetooth headphones or speakers. This allows you to enjoy audio wirelessly from devices that lack built-in Bluetooth.

1. Slide the mode switch to 'TX'.
2. Connect your audio source (e.g., TV) to the adapter's audio input (3.5mm AUX TX Input or OPTICAL In (TX)) using the appropriate cable.
3. The indicator light will flash, indicating pairing mode.

7.3 Modo de derivación

Bypass mode allows you to use the adapter as a direct wired connection between your audio source and output device without disconnecting cables. This is useful for switching between wired and wireless audio without replugging.

1. Slide the mode switch to 'Bypass'.
2. Connect your audio source (e.g., TV) to the adapter's input (e.g., 3.5mm AUX TX Input or OPTICAL In (TX)).
3. Connect the adapter's output (e.g., 3.5mm AUX RX Input or OPTICAL In (RX)) to your audio system (e.g., soundbar, speakers).
4. The audio will pass through the adapter directly to your audio system.

Bypass mode supports four different configurations:

• Entrada/saída auxiliar: LED auxiliar acendido.
• Opt in/Opt out: Opt LED on.
• Aux in/Opt out: Aux LED flashes first, then Opt LED on.
• Opt in/Aux out: Opt LED flashes first, then Aux LED on.

8. Funcións de control

The adapter features intuitive controls for media playback and volume adjustment:

• Reproducir/Pausa: Prema o botón Reproducir/Pausa para iniciar ou deter a reprodución de audio.
• Pista anterior/seguinte: Use the Pre/Next switch to skip to the previous or next track.
• Subir/Baixar o volume: Use the Volume Up/Down switch to adjust the audio volume. This function is particularly useful for devices that lack their own volume controls.

Nota: After the device is turned on, double-press the quick pairing button to quickly pair your Bluetooth device.

9 Solución de problemas

• Sen enerxía: Ensure the device is charged. Connect it to a power source using the Micro USB cable.
• Non se pode emparellar: Make sure the adapter is in the correct TX or RX pairing mode (indicator light flashing). Ensure your receiving/transmitting device is also in pairing mode. Try restarting both devices.
• Sen audio: Check all cable connections (AUX, Optical, RCA) are secure and connected to the correct input/output ports for the selected mode. Verify volume levels on both the adapter and connected audio devices.
• Retraso de sincronización de labios: While the adapter supports aptX Low Latency, your receiving Bluetooth device (headphones/speaker) must also support aptX Low Latency to achieve minimal delay. If your device does not support aptX LL, some delay may be noticeable.
• Short Range/Interference: The operating range can be affected by obstacles, Wi-Fi routers, and other wireless devices. Try moving the adapter closer to the connected device or away from sources of interference.
• Sony Bluetooth Devices Pairing: Sony's Bluetooth headsets/earphones/headphones use a special encoding method. When pairing with this adapter in transmitter mode, it may take longer to pair. The pairing time varies by Sony model, but they should eventually pair successfully.
• Automatic Dormant Mode: The product will automatically enter dormant and power-saving mode after 6 minutes without a connection. To reactivate, simply press any button or power cycle the device.

10. Mantemento

• For the best audio quality and lowest latency, ensure both the adapter and your connected Bluetooth device support aptX HD and aptX Low Latency, respectively.
• If experiencing connection issues, try clearing the Bluetooth pairing history on both the adapter and your connected device, then attempt to pair again.
• The dual antenna design provides excellent range, but for critical listening or gaming, try to minimize physical obstructions between the adapter and your receiving device.
• The NFC function is a convenient way to quickly pair your phone in RX mode, saving time compared to manual pairing.
