The INKBIRD ICC-510 is a plug-and-play CO2 controller equipped with a professional-grade CO2 sensor, manufactured to ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 62.1-2022+Addendum ab (31 October 2023) RESET Grade B. It offers two primary modes: Plant Mode and Human Mode, catering to diverse usage scenarios.
- Plant Mode: Ideal for environments requiring elevated CO2 levels during lighting periods, such as plant tents and greenhouses. A built-in photo sensor automatically detects light, enabling or disabling CO2 output accordingly.
- Modo humano: Suitable for indoor spaces with daily human activity. It continuously monitors CO2 levels and activates an exhaust fan when necessary to maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment.

2. Product Components and Control Panel
The ICC-510 consists of a main controller unit and a separate CO2 sensor module. Familiarize yourself with the components and control panel for effective operation.
2.1 Panel de control
The main controller features a display and control buttons:

- Day/Time Indicator Light: Flashes in daytime mode, dims in nighttime mode.
- CO2 Indicator Light: Illuminates when the CO2 outlet is active.
- Botón SET: Press and hold to enter/exit setting mode.
- Increase/Decrease Buttons (▲/▼): Used to adjust parameters in setting mode.
- CO2 Display Screen: Shows current CO2 level during operation, or set value during configuration.
- SV Display Screen: Shows STOP value, START value, and BoFF during operation, or menu characters during configuration.
- FAN Indicator Light: Illuminates when the FAN outlet is active.

3. Configuración
3.1 Instalar o sensor de CO2
Connect the CO2 sensor module to the main controller unit. Ensure the connection is secure.

Notice: Do not break the white mask on the sensor as this may damage the internal components of the sensor.
3.2 Encendido
Plug the controller into a power source. The screen will display a startup sequence:
- Initially, the screen will display "8888".
- After 3 seconds, it will show "-----".
- After another 3 seconds, it will display numeric values, indicating it's ready for operation.

4.2 Programar os parámetros
The ICC-510 offers three main operational modes, each with specific parameter settings:

4.2.1 Plant Mode without Fan (CO2 Device Only)
This mode is for controlling only CO2 devices (e.g., CO2 regulator or generator). The photo sensor will turn the CO2 outlet on/off based on set values when there is light, but keep it off when there is no light, regardless of set values.

- Adjust CO2 start value (Con) and CO2 stop value (COFF) using ▲/▼, pressing SET after each. (CO2 Stop value must be ≥ CO2 Start value).
- Set calibration value (CAL) if needed.
4.2.2 Plant Mode with Fan (CO2 Device and Ventilation Fan)
This mode controls both a CO2 device and a ventilation fan simultaneously. The photo sensor only affects the CO2 outlet; the fan outlet operates based on set values regardless of light.

- Adjust FAN start value (Fon) and FAN stop value (FoFF) using ▲/▼, pressing SET after each. (FAN Start value must be ≥ FAN Stop value).
- Set calibration value (CAL) if needed.
4.2.3 Human Mode (Ventilation Fan Only)
This mode is for controlling only ventilation fans. The fan outlet operates based on set values regardless of light.

4.3 Calibración de CO2
The controller supports two methods for CO2 calibration:

4.3.1 Calibración xeral
Use this method to manually adjust the CO2 reading if you suspect a bias.
- Mantén premido SET durante 2 segundos para entrar en modo de configuración.
- Preme SET to cycle through menus until SV screen displays "CAL".
- Use ▲/▼ to adjust the calibration parameter.
- Mantén premido SET durante 2 segundos para gardar e saír.
4.3.2 Calibración profesional
This method performs an automatic calibration. It is recommended to perform this in a ventilated outdoor environment with a stable CO2 level (e.g., 400ppm).
- With the controller running, press and hold ▲ and ▼ buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds until the SV screen displays "PCAL" and the CO2 screen displays "400ppm" (default). Release both buttons.
- Use ▲/▼ to adjust the target calibration value if different from 400ppm.
- Mantén premido SET for 2 seconds to start calibration. The CO2 screen will display "---" and flash.
- Calibration takes 1 to 20 minutes.
- Upon completion, the CO2 screen will display "PASS" (successful) or "FAIL" (failed). Press any button to exit.
NOTE: If the CO2 level fluctuates greatly during calibration, use general calibration instead. Do not exhale into the sensor during automatic calibration.
4.4 Configuración da alarma
The ICC-510 provides high and low CO2 level alarms to ensure a safe environment.

4.4.1 Enable the Audible Alarm

- Use ▲/▼ to select "ON" (SV screen displays ON).
- Set the high (AH) and low (AL) alarm values using ▲/▼, pressing SET after each.

- Preme SET to switch to "ALA" (Alarm).
- Use ▲/▼ to select "OFF" (SV screen displays OFF).

4.5 Restablecemento de fábrica
Para restaurar o controlador á configuración predeterminada de fábrica:
- Disconnect the controller from the power supply.
- While pressing and holding the ▼ button, reconnect it to the power supply.
- Continue holding the ▼ button until you hear a beep, indicating a successful factory reset.
- Release the ▼ button. The screen will return to normal in a few seconds.
5. Mantemento
5.1 Limpeza e coidado
- The white mask on the CO2 sensor must remain intact. Do not break it, as this may damage internal components.
- Keep both the photo sensor and CO2 sensor free from dust. Periodically use a dry cloth to remove dust to prevent light sensing malfunctions, erroneous CO2 readings, and slow response.
- Do not cover the photo sensor or seal the CO2 sensor during use, as this may cause the device to fail to operate normally.
- When not in use, clean the product immediately and store it in a dry place.

9. Garantía e soporte
The controller is warranted for 2 years (5 years for the CO2 sensor) against defects in either components or workmanship. During this period, products that prove to be defective will, at the discretion of INKBIRD, be either repaired or replaced without charge.
